AWO Connect ist das sichere soziale Netzwerk der AWO im Unterbezirk Münsterland-Recklinghausen.

Den Nutzer*innen wird die direkte Kontaktaufnahme mit den einzelnen Einrichtungen ermöglicht. Der Informationsaustausch erfolgt in geschützten Bereichen in Form von Gruppen- und in Einzelkontakten. Die Einrichtungen informieren die Nutzer*innen über alle Neuigkeiten und Änderungen direkt und bequem. So halten Sie digitalen Kontakt zu Ihren Kindern und Angehörigen in den Einrichtungen der AWO, bekommen Beiträge aus dem Alltag der Einrichtung und können auf Beratungsangebote und Tipps der Mitarbeiter*innen vor Ort zurückgreifen.

Der Betrieb erfolgt in deutschen Rechenzentren. Das mehrstufige Sicherheitskonzept garantiert die Absicherung der Einrichtungsgruppen.

Nachdem unsere Kita die jährlichen zwei Emails durch diese App ersetzt, sind wir zur Nutzung gezwungen. Und obwohl in der Einverständniserklärung deutlich darauf hingewiesen wird, dass ohne Einwilligung zur Verarbeitung und Weitergabe von Daten u.a. an „dritte Kunden“ keinerlei Nachteile entstehen und dass zur Nutzung der App lediglich die Angabe von Name und Mailadresse ausreicht, ist das schlicht nicht korrekt. Die App einer SPD-nahen Entwicklungsfirma eines SPD-Mitglieds wird für die Kommunikation mit einer AWO-Kita vorausgesetzt.
Egal, weg damit und häufiger in der Kita nachfragen.
