Their names are shown. When I send messages the view to me is my email address. Everything I’ve read shows you can’t change this, but your preview says otherwise. Can I change my user name to pop up on my phone as me, not my email. Preview of PRO shows I should be able to, but everything else says otherwise and it’s super annoying. Sounds petty but this is the only chat app I have that does that. If not for being told I’ll use it for my job, I wouldn’t be using it. ### 1/5 — Not opening anymore *2022-04-20, version 5.102.4* Once I couldn’t login sometimes, now I cant’ even open it. Edit even since I updated it every time I have to login I have to delete and download again the app. ### 1/5 — Face ID constantly fails *2022-04-07, version 5.102.3* I really don’t understand how this app has such good reviews. The face ID fails to even appear as an option at least one out of every three times I load it. And now, the password box is hidden behind the keyboard. So either way, I have to either manually enter the password without being able to actually see it, or I have to quit the app and reopen it. Have to close and reopen the app entirely and then hit „send again“. The main gripe is that the cross platform functionality is extremely bad. We have had multiple users complain about the same messages and channels not appearing on different devices. When contacting customer service there is no response. Really disappointing. It’s been 3 years now having to use this sad application and there have been no improvements, which is ironic since the app asks you to update every other day. Whatever they’re “improving” it’s not making the app a better user experience. Significant issues with app access. *2024-11-05, version 6.46.12* I have been a user of AWS Wickr and Wickr Pro for over 5 years. 16 days ago my account was abruptly suspended with no explanation. And certainly no refund for the portion of the monthly fee was provided or offered. I have since now attempted to contact assistance by emailing two individual reps and making a general “help” query. I have received no reply whatsoever. This outage has happened my ability to communicate with clients and share documents. The newer AWS Wickr destroyed all of that and forces the user to hand over PII to use it and tracks user metadata - consumer beware! Most users I know have abandoned the platform for better alternatives. ### 1/5 — Sign in non-functional *2023-01-13, version 6.2.2* Signing in on iPadOS is impossible. The login page just goes black and it’s not possible to enter you password.
