## What is AWSorNOT?

AWSorNOT helps you quickly verify whether a website is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Enter a URL, tap scan, and get an instant result you can use for discovery, research, and quick technical checks.

What it does
- Scan any URL to determine if it’s likely hosted on AWS
- Clear result output (AWS-hosted: yes/no) plus a short explanation message


How it works (high-level)

AWSorNOT sends your URL to the AWSorNOT backend, which analyzes DNS/network metadata and checks whether the resolved IPs map to AWS infrastructure.


Built as a community project

AWSorNOT started as an AWS User Group Lisbon initiative and is available as an open-source project.
