Not sure why my company decided to switch from the extremely user friendly HotSchedules to this terrible app. It’s frustrating for both management as it is for employees. Not worth it.

This app needs to be reconstructed. My workplace decided to replace hotschedules with this app and it’s TERRIBLE. Everything takes forever to load, I have to wait 5 minutes to see what time I’m scheduled and I can’t even see who I’m working with without waiting another 5 minutes. Hopefully they bring back hotschedules.

Update: a year later and it’s still just as bad. Doesn’t update anything. I tried checking our sales for our restaurant and it hasn’t updated since 5pm… it’s been 11pm and we’re closed now. Seriously get it together.

The scheduler on this thing is awful. It’s clear it was designed as a data tracker first with scheduling as an after thought.  It’s clunky, cumbersome and not intuitive. Get better please. Have one of your devs sit down with an actual manager and make a schedule.

My company switched from Hot Schedules to Axial over a year ago. While we tried to not give this app a bad wrap off the bat, after a year of it still being complete trash, I guess we should let the truth come to light. You can’t make a schedule on an Apple product. The daily sales constantly stop loading (for example it’s 11:22pm, but the last sale loaded at 6:17). 9 out of 10 times trying to log in, we are forced to wait for the jumping avocado to reach 542 jumps on his jump rope before anything loads. Oh, and the daily tasks. They could not be less user friendly. They often don’t load (shocking, I know), or you attach a photo and it disappears. If you’re not forced to use this app, don’t even bother.

If I could give this app zero stars, I would. I have never in my life written a review for an app. My company switched from HotSchedules to axial a month ago and every single person hates it. I cannot even get into all the ways it is not functional and degrades communication within the workplace.

My company decided to switch from hot schedules and everyone hates this new app. You can’t see who you’re working with unless you go to swap shifts. My average tip has said 0.17 for the last 2 weeks. You don’t get notifications when someone picks up your shift. It glitches all the time and will cause mass confusion. Team members have to manually put in their numbers… the list goes on. I wish we could have hot schedules back because this app is the worst.
