## What is Aximmetry Eye?

Aximmetry Eye transforms your mobile devices into a universal tool for real-time virtual production. Using your mobile app together with the Aximmetry Virtual Production Platform makes creating green screen, AR, and XR projects simple.


When Aximmetry Eye is used as a companion to the Aximmetry virtual production platform, it unlocks the full feature set of Aximmetry Eye:
-It provides position and direction data for talent, object, or camera tracking.  
-It can convert your mobile into a real-time preview monitor, displaying the final composite on the fly within the Aximmetry Eye app during production. 
-It streams your mobile's camera feed into the Aximmetry Virtual Production Platform.

Aximmetry Eye is compatible with all Aximmetry software editions. Please check at Aximmetry's Version History page (https://aximmetry.com/learn/software-version-history) to see if the Aximmetry Eye app is compatible with your current Aximmetry Virtual Production Platform software version.

Free trial of Aximmetry Broadcast&Film software licenses with watermark can be requested at my.aximmetry.com after registration.

When used as a standalone application (with the "Connect button"), Aximmetry Eye is a virtual production camera. It is compatible with any device or software capable of receiving video streams via SRT protocol.

- Using Aximmetry Eye no longer requires you to log in to your Aximmetry account.
- Added the option to automatically connect to Aximmetry machines you already connected to in the past.
- The first time Aximmetry Eye will connect automatically to the first detected Aximmetry.
- Fixed that disconnection from an Aximmetry machine was not detected until streaming was started.

Device names in Aximmetry now begin with "AximmetryEye".
