Update this atrocity, please. ### 3/5 — Slow and drains my iPad Pro batteries *2020-12-15, version 3.14.11* I’m forced to use this as my client uses this older system. The app is fine, but it’s really slow to refresh when changing views. Plus the batteries on my iPad Pro drains so quickly, even when plugged it, it’s draining quicker than charging. And it won’t work on desktop Macs. Not sure if they’re still updating this software, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2020-08-26, version 3.13.1* What horrible app, we tried it for our business but is just a waste of money and time , we went with a local company and is amazing . I would not be recommending this company to any of my business associates. Non è possibile vedere chi suona prima di aver risposto quindi conviene tenersi il vecchio citofono analogico. Con gli ultimi aggiornamenti non si riesce neanche a parlare con chi ha suonato il campanello e l’apertura della porta/cancello avviene con ritardo rispetto alle precedenti ti versioni. ### 1/5 — Requires an internet connection and account login *2019-11-13, version 3.12.18* This application along with the PC program is painful to use and useless for some applications that it would otherwise be perfect for. Specifically, it forces a login to your “MyAxis” account which renders it useless when the camera and client are not internet connected. I needed something for a standalone covert, mobile recorder using the memory slot for storage. This system would NEVER be connected to an internet enabled network. Axis Companion should allow for opting out of connecting it to “MyAxis”. I can’t even conceive of why a company like Axis would do this. It seems very selfish to deliberately cripple and application at the expense of customers just to gather & control information. Sad ### 2/5 — No manual camera add *2019-09-26, version 3.12.14* As far as I can tell there is no way to manually add cameras. You need to be on the same network via WiFi. First off, for a business that’s not a good practice. Secondly, for my situation, my cameras are only accessible via VPN for configuring and WAN for viewing. Making the entire app pointless. Please allow the ability to manually add your cameras. ### 1/5 — You need to setup on your PC first *2019-09-07, version 3.12.14* This app does not let you enter a password to connect to a new camera. So you need to create your site and connect to the camera on the PC Companion app, and then only will it work on your iPhone. ### 1/5 — Wenn dann irgendwann endlich der MAC Client kommt... *2019-06-18, version 3.12.13* Ich nutze die Lösung seit vielen Jahren. Und es läuft! Meine alten Kameras gibt es leider keine neue Firmware und damit diese AXIS Remote Kamera App nicht... Das ist sehr schade werden solche Kameras doch wegen ihrer Langlebigkeit angeschafft. Sonst hätte ich mir ja auch etwas chinesisches kaufen können... Was ich nicht verstehen kann, ist das AmacOS User von dem Hersteller komplett ausgeschlossen werden. Ganz zu Anfang war es ja zugesagt! ### 3/5 — Solid app missing some polish *2019-05-14, version 3.12.10* This app is mostly a fantastic addition to the companion family. I do wish I could order my cameras differently in the multi view though. It seems like a basic option and I’m surprised it does not allow for it. This is mostly something I would like to have when using it on my Apple TV. I do wish there were a few more options when on the Apple TV. It would be nice to click on one of the multi view cameras and enlarge it. Ich habe nicht die Möglichkeit mich anzumelden - als es mal gekappt hat, wurde mir aufgezeigt, dass das Passwort falsch ist was nicht stimmt. Am liebsten null Sterne! Ich kann meine Kamera nicht mehr verwenden! ### 1/5 — Garbage app and product *2024-01-07, version 3.14.58* Overcomplicated useless technology. Got a AXIS M10 camera and tried to setup with the app. App got stuck multiple times during the registration process and email validation. In the end once I successfully accepted pages of terms and multiple logins I got a message the support will be discontinued at end of 2024. Next my new Axis M10 could not connect and it directs me to use a desktop. Save your device space and your wallet. Passwort der Kameras wird zwar abgefragt, aber keine weitere Verbindung zur Kamera. Muss so etwas kurz vor Weihnachten sein? Ich dachte auf Axis könnte man sich verlassen, aber für uns als Überwachung im Einzelhandel so nicht brauchbar. Im Übrigen, die neue App funktioniert auch nicht, obwohl die entsprechende Hardware mit Firmware installiert ist. This app is simple and to the point and reliable. Has worked great for me. ### 5/5 — La versión 3.12.18 no funciona la aplicación. *2019-11-25, version 3.12.18* Desde que he actualizado a la versión 3.12.18 en un IPhone 7 con el IOS 13.2.3 no se puede entrar en la aplicación. Con la versión anterior de Axis 3.12.17 funcionaba correctamente. Después de 3 semanas aun Axis no ha solucionado la incidencia y no tenemos acceso a la aplicación. ### 5/5 — Most secure entry level video surveillance app *2019-11-07, version 3.12.18* This is so much more secure than the mega-vulnerable chinese systems commonly used (Swann, rebranded Dahua, etc). Axis M3044 domes with on board SD card storage, plus this app, is a super stable home / small business surveillance system. Many reviews complain about lack of features, but geez this is a FREE APP! Egal wo man ist (WLan oder Mobilfunk) meldet die App sehr zuverlässig, dass jemand den Knopf an der Türstation betätigt hat! Das war vorher leider nicht der Fall! Auch die neue und schnelle Aufteilungsmöglichkeit der Kameraansichten und die Live-Ansicht mehrerer Kameras ist toll gelungen!
