First, you don't need Administrator access to my cameras. Second, I know the password is correct, yet it constantly fails, even as an Administrator. Deleting as soon as this review is posted. ### 5/5 — Axis *2022-08-25, version 1.6.25* Easy to use works great sets everything up less then a minute would definitely recommend thank you ### 1/5 — No modern camera support & odd permissions *2022-07-08, version 1.6.25* Years ago this was a great app but it no longer works with any modern axis firmware from about the past 5 years. Contacted support about this and got a very generic response saying the camera isn’t supported but might be supported which didn’t help at all. Asked for more info and was ignored entirely. Also, app demands you give it location permissions even though this is in no way necessary to load a camera feed and wasn’t until they updated the app to demand it. You can’t do anything in app unless you approve. That seems really sketchy. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t recognize username and password *2022-02-21, version 1.6.25* I can log in to my cameras directly through a browser, but enter those same credentials in their app, and it says it’s wrong. It found the cameras on my network just fine. This is obviously an app issue. Now I have to change my IP addresses and passwords just in case this app is sniffing for credentials. Very disappointed. ### 5/5 — Wow *2022-01-11, version 1.6.25* Hey this worked the first time round! I have older cameras that can’t be supported by there manufacture anymore and this pulled them right up! Just have to figure out how to record and save video ### 2/5 — Will not find AXIS cameras *2021-10-25, version 1.6.24* I’ve tried repeatedly to add access cameras on my net work and it won’t find them and it won’t add them manually either something in a recent update broke functionality ### 1/5 — No support for encrypted passwords *2019-06-23, version 1.6.20* The program could be nice, but I cannot log into my Axis cameras. The program does not support Encrypted Passwords. It support old plain password, meaning the password would be sent as plain password. Encrypted password, would create a hash, and that hash would be sent, basically there is no way to reconstruct the original password. Since I cannot use the program, it would be a one star review. I hopped this would be fixed, but after two years, nothing. Other programs support encrypted passwords. I use IPCamView Pro, but it's not good. Does not handle setting F/s or view size. Ugly interface. The best IP Camera program is only on Android :(. It's tinyCam Pro. Amazing program. All functions I need. Here on iOS, all IP programs are a joke. Too bad the developer does not port it's app to iOS. I do not use Android... ### 3/5 — Missing standard features *2019-06-19, version 1.6.19* Most PTZ cameras support position presets.
