They won’t lock your checkout in while your trying to pay. Thats the problem. Having to then verify my phone number on the app - again, just to access a ticket I’ve bought - is also annoying. All this just to add the ticket to Apple wallet which could’ve been done directly from an email in the first place?? It’s the equivalent of printing out paper with QR codes just to tell people to scan for the menu. If I check several games or just refresh tickets for a game I’m interested in, it quickly blocks your IP address and thinks it’s suspicious activity.
