Seriously tired of opening my notes on a desktop after repetitively saving through the app during patient visits just to find almost none of my measurements or comments actually saved. This has been a problem for at least the 5 months I’ve been using it and doesn’t seem like a fix is coming anytime soon. Such a major problem when it comes to thinks like getting accurate health information updates ### 3/5 — App and Desktop Site *2025-05-18, version 4.5.8* They should be similar and have similar features. We should be able to put in orders, access the wound care worksheet, and view a patient’s full schedule in the app. It is frustrating pausing mid visit to try and fool with the desktop site. ### 1/5 — So many errors *2024-06-23, version 4.3.4* This app does have a lot of potential and easy to navigate. HOWEVER every second I get 3 to 5 errors when I try to click on anything. Sometimes it would kick me out of the app and have random glitches. I hope it can get fixed. ### 2/5 — Poor Priorities *2024-05-30* In many ways, Axxess is competitive or leads the field as a home health EMR. This app is NOT one of those ways, which is a real pity since it is the most important part of the EMR for our field staff. Axxess frequently releases buggy updates or straight up broken features. IT dept/help line is rarely helpful in my experience. Just this week Axxess dropped an update that made my life a living nightmare. Unable to document or collect EVV in the field. Deleted and re-installed to no effect. End result is that I took home ~2 hours of extra documentation that should have been done point of service. Unfortunately not a rare occurrence either, minor glitches happen ALL the time and MAJOR disruptions seem to happen 3-4 times per year. Axxess, you need better app developers and more robust beta testing. This is ridiculous. ### 1/5 — Not dependable *2024-05-29, version 4.3.3* After the last update, I am unable to open the “patients” tab. It forces the entire app down and closes out. I can’t access any patient info now. Makes it nearly impossible to do my job. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no luck. ### 4/5 — Pretty good app *2024-03-25* App is pretty good once you learn how to use it correctly. I also have to make sure to keep up with the updates. I have sent multiple emails outlining the vast deficiencies of this app. Every version of the app is more complicated and requires more steps to do the same work. Home healthcare agencies you should avoid this app like the plague. You can’t even start the visit on time because it doesn’t work! Frustrating to say the least’ ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2024-02-23* Glitches often, doesn’t save entered data, maps not always working properly, EVV doesn’t always work, logging in and out is tedious if you get timed out, does not remember log in credentials, documents and patient chart info is not always available. A lot of times you have to double document. Would not recommend, it can be very time consuming and calling support is no help because it takes weeks for them to get back to you. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2024-02-19, version 4.2.6* I swear every time they update this app, it makes it even worse. Now we can’t even submit our visits unless we login through the web browser. Because I know all nurses out there definitely have time ti be jumping through hoops in our work day. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bug fixes *2026-04-30, version 5.0.1* Bug fixes are constant and erase my visit information with not being able to load my previous visit information like Diagnoses, previous Diabetes blood sugar numbers, or Ostomy information. We are not paid by the hour to re post a patients information in every visit. There are so many times where I wasn’t able to clock in or out and constantly having to manually log my time is devastating. They need to fix this app or else they’ll just keep getting compliants, and they boast about this app like it’s a big shot lol. ### 1/5 — Horrible app, used by a horrible and unprofessional company Don’t work for nwhhr *2025-10-25, version 4.6.7* Wish I could give NO STARS! ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2025-09-23* They need to do something about this, Axxess is a ridiculoulsy expensive EMR and we just recently switched to them from another EMR which pricing was roughly $300/month for unlimited number of patients and now we’re paying 500% more (which will def increase as we add more patients in the next few weeks). They boasted about this app so much only to find out it very very glitchy and 99% of the time, we cannot do EVV and save/complete our notes. It’s supposed to help clinicians be more efficient in charting but it defeats this purpose at all. ### 1/5 — Poor quality and no IT assistance *2025-09-09, version 4.6.3* My program will not work on the app or website since they updated the program and no one can help me and I have been told there is no IT specialist that works for Axxess to assist you and this is been going on for three weeks ### 1/5 — Login issues *2024-08-31, version 4.4.0* I attempt to log in, it tells me I’m successfully logged in & as soon as I hit ok it takes me right back to the login screen? Communication notes are a disaster. Could only be 4 lines long then could only be altered by going thru gymnastics or deleting the entire message. Crashes regularly. A lot of these poor reviews are old and reflect what the app used to be. A lot of clinicians I work with complain about the app but in reality it’s their device that is old or their OS/app isn’t updated to the latest version or they are a bit technologically challenged. Every app has glitches and this one is no exception but there’s no other HH app out there that even comes close to having the same functionality as Axxess.
