The reciter I learn from is very hard to find but I found him in this app. The fact that I can pick any ayah to arabic and English to a second is very useful, and doesn't make me frustrated with learning at all. I'd like to suggest a few features such as: a) being able to download the whole Quran or specific surahs as not everyone has constant Internet access and it is just not practical to download each ayah individually. b) including whole page pictures from the Uthmani mushaf (Madinan print) so you can see the ayah that is being played and those before and after - this is particularly useful for those memorising. c) repeat function for groups of ayaat That would make it an excellent app in my opinion. جزاك الله خيرًا ### 4/5 — Very good *2012-12-14, version 1.1* Mashallah, this is a very great idea to listen to any preferred ayah on its own, and great choice of sheikh Al Hosary with excellent quality though would love a repetition button which could allow to choose how many times we want to listen to the same ayah. Will help with students who are memorizing Plus playing in BG or when phone is locked . Now, 9 years later, the developer has added many additional features which makes it even more amazing. The app is very beneficial for both general reading and for students who want to do Hifz. I was especially impressed on the simplicity and easiness it had to listen and go through any ayah of the Quran, use translate tool with a simple touch on the screen or select a different reciter.
