### 5/5 — I use this Aye Tides App whenever we go cruising/sailing to destinations

*2020-05-16, version 3.0.4*

Love this for real time currents on the Chesapeake Bay...helps me to select the best route for favorable currents toward my destination.

### 5/5 — The new flood+ebb markers are so helpful

*2020-05-10, version 3.0.3*

For us kayakers who tend to look for current less than 1/2 knot when planning crossings, being able to see that marker on both sides of slack is a great addition. Now it's easy to see the window I'm going to want to target.

### 5/5 — Bill

*2020-03-04, version 3.0.2*

Best tide app. Good job guys! Used this tide app all over th world and found a tide table very close to my location. The best part is seeing easily what you want to know. For example, “low tide is in 45 min.”

### 5/5 — The best, essential, current and tide reference

*2019-12-28, version 3.0.0*

This easy to use, fun to use, and full features app is an essential in any cruiser’s app toolbox. Don’t leave the dock without it.

I use this app in three ways. First, for planning, I use this app to make the rough plan of our voyages. I then cross reference this research against at least one other source, for safety. Second, I use this app underway for spot check out plan and make sure we are on track. Third, I use it for exploring our future journeys, what are the tides like, the basemap is detailed enough for me to visualize future journeys.

Worth every penny.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-11-26, version 3.0.0*

Used it for years on our catamaran. Thank you

### 5/5 — Brilliant App

*2019-09-30, version 2.8.3*

Works for this professional mariner !

### 5/5 — Easy accurate global

*2019-08-22*

Has accurate tide data for more locations than others and it is quick, user friendly, and well designed.

### 5/5 — Et les coefficients?,???

*2019-06-26, version 2.8.1*

Et les coefs ??

### 5/5 — Tide predictions

*2019-05-19, version 2.8.1*

Aye tides gives me all the information I need for planning my local trips. Easy and quick to use.
A comfort to have it on my iPhone and iPad.

### 5/5 — Wrong tides

*2019-05-05, version 2.8.1*

The tide data for Vancouver and some of the surrounding area has been wrong. More than once, it’s been ebbing when your tables show flood.
I am losing confidence in the data that I have previously relied on.

### 5/5 — Seems acurate

*2018-11-22, version 2.8.0*

For a “use it at your own risk” app, it works very well.

### 5/5 — Premium Tide App

*2018-09-01, version 2.7.7*

All you need for tides.

### 4/5 — C’est très bien

*2018-08-15, version 2.7.4*

### 5/5 — Handy

*2018-08-06, version 2.7.4*

The app is very handy

### 5/5 — ganz gut

*2018-08-05, version 2.7.4*

Doch nice to have.

### 5/5 — Suellen

*2018-06-07, version 2.7.3*

Nice integration with iNavX. No muss no fuss. Works well

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2017-09-23, version 2.5.4*

I have been using AyeTides for several years on the eastern US and Bahamas. It is very reliable and integrates seamlessly with my SeaiQ navigation app. The user interface is intuitive and simple.

### 5/5 — Tides

*2017-05-29, version 2.5.4*

Good easily accessible tide info

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Update

*2015-12-24, version 2.3.2*

Ne fonctionne plus sous Ipad 2 ios 7.1.2
Problème d'affichage qui disparaît....
Pensez aux anciennes versions.

### 1/5 — Aye it's crap

*2015-05-24, version 2.2.7*

One to be avoided. Does not link from chart to specific tidal station. Does not have Current information and what it does have is course and inaccurate.

### 1/5 — Nicht nur nutzlos sondern gefährlich!

*2014-04-02, version 2.1.1*

### 1/5 — Beware: far fewer points than advertised

*2013-01-30, version 1.5.2*

This app only shows tide data from real time tide locations or historical tide locations. If you are looking for the tide tables for a location outside the US that publishes a tide table, don't buy this app. Example: the nearest tide option is more than 500 miles away from Phuket in this app. Waste of $9.99. Don't buy.

### 1/5 — Aye Tides Malfunction

*2012-10-02, version 1.4.2*

BEWARE!!
First of all, imagine you purchased this app and needed support. There is an invitation on this page to go to their support page, but guess what, there is no email address, no phone number - so just what does "support" mean here?
When I first purchased this program it worked fine but after the last iPad update it would not load. Since there is no way to get in touch with them I proceeded to do what worked with other apps failures, namely remove the app and reload. This I did, but it still didn't work. So I loaded it on my iphone and it works OK there. The surprise was I have been billed for 2 downloads (2 * $9.99).

### 1/5 — Aye Tides XL pour iNavX

*2012-05-08, version 1.3.3*

### 2/5 — Enormously Frustrating

*2016-08-21, version 2.4.1*

I purchased AyeTides XL at the beginning of a cruise from Everett, WA to the Broughton Islands near the NW end of Vancouver Island. Initially it worked well, however, once I left the immediate area where I downloaded AyeTides, it became enormously frustrating because it was difficult to find current or tide stations. If you travel only a modest distance since the last time you used AyeTides with Internet, instead of a map with all tide and current locations obvious, you are greeted with a sheet of graph paper like grid with C’s, G’s, and push pins spread out across them. There are no labels to tell you what all these items are. If you are in an area with lots of information, there may be 50 unlabeled points on the screen. If you try to scroll with your finger, the map (if you have it) or the graph paper changes to a table which may start out with tides in Ghana or some place on the other side of the world. Most of the time when you select “GPS” to set your position, AyeTides does not recognize the GPS even though other software does. Manually setting your position almost always results in the “graph paper” grid display. If you are able to find the tide or current you want, they appear to be correct except for Johnstone Strait where the predictions were badly in error. Save your money and get another program that doesn’t try to do the whole world.

### 2/5 — warning not for iPhone

*2012-05-20, version 1.3.3*

i navx requires this app to do tides in their excellent marine nav. app. I admit I made a mistake by putting this this app. on my iPad for planning. figuring the data would transfer like inavx to my iPhone. oops. wrong you have to buy again. it is a great tides app but i will not pay another 9.99 for data that is available for free. I will pay another developer for a tides app that works on both. "bouy data" is good as well. try that if you want tides both places would have gotten 5 stars except for this expensive anomaly

### 3/5 — Sprache

*2022-05-01, version 3.1.11*

Warum nur auf Englisch?

### 5/5 — Love the Aye Tides

*2022-07-30, version 3.1.12*

Just love this app. We use this to check for tides and slack tides and current all the time in the Pacific Northwest all the time, can’t live without it.

### 5/5 — Easy to use, great support.

*2022-06-22, version 3.1.11*

AyeTides is easy to use. I use it on the iPad and the information is easy to see while boating. When I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the time display to the 24 hour clock, support was quick and effective. I’m a happy user.

### 5/5 — reliable essential for coastal sailors

*2022-05-19, version 3.1.11*

I keep a paper tidebook on board in case of iPad death, but use AyeTides exclusively for timing transits in the BC coast. An excellent app that does one thing perfectly.

### 5/5 — Bien

*2021-10-06, version 3.1.8*

Je me sert depuis des années

### 5/5 — Excellent app!

Always reliable.

### 5/5 — Easy and fast.

*2020-06-04, version 3.0.5*

Great
