I wish there was a way to report issues though. Sometimes I can tell that the right answer isn’t there. So I ask my husband to confirm and he agrees. This app was perfect and was so helpful up until the past 4 days. It’s been stuck loading on the homepage and is not working. They need to check the English though because about 25% of the time there are constructions that just wouldn’t be used, e.g. At that time when I was in the cafe — natural English: at the time when I was in the cafe. Also, some of the versions in Armenian have really weird word order and some correct ones are rejected. I would appreciate a module on reading capital letters too. It is a bit haphazard on introducing vocab too — short sentences with easy words mixed with long sentences with polysyllabic words! Some of the English translations are completely out of order. It seems primarily in the module review sections. For instance, in one of them. “Yes el, shnorak’alutyun” It should be “me too thank you”, and the correct answer according to the app is “too thank me you”. ### 3/5 — Difficult, as a beginner *2025-03-20, version 2.23* The first five or so units were great. It was easy for me to remember vocabulary and grammar and the units were a nice introduction to Eastern Armenian for someone like me who knows nothing. However, once I reached “Directions and Indications,” I felt like tons of vocabulary was being thrown at me at rapid speeds at the beginning of each lesson. I was then forced to put everything together and translate long, complicated sentences with words I hadn’t yet learned. I really wish the lessons spent a little more time teaching vocabulary and giving you time to practice with new words. This could be fixed by just dividing one unit into more lessons to increase the depth of each and provide an easier transition from learning to applying for beginners like me. Additionally, I agree with many other reviews in that there should be a better way to learn the alphabet. I like that it is listed in each unit, but just as there is a different section of the app that serves as a dictionary, there could be a section where users can learn how to write the alphabet and identify each letter by sound; you can take inspiration from Duolingo’s method of teaching users how to write in Arabic, Japanese, or Chinese. Finally, and of least importance, the app often takes a while to load. It would be nice if that could be improved in the future. I hope you take all my suggestions to heart, especially since I am enchanted by this language and desperate to learn it. But in Reality this App needs a Lot of approvement to reach even more people. 1. Make it into a system where you can mark words and start weekly vocabulary Tests maybe. Sort of Like Anki Card Management. 2. So, the information is very interesting but you should to make the design more readable: the armenian letters are specific and i needed to make them bigger , but because of the windows where they are located I could not see the entire text . Ipad has so big and beautiful screen and you have to make the design of your app to use it entirely no only a small part. Ошибки есть в произношении слов, в порядке слов при составлении словосочетаний/предложений. особенно выбесило, что армянское слово «չարժե» оно перевело как «are you welcome», когда оно переводится как: «не стоит/не за что». There are a lot of errors in the application. This applies to both the operation of the application and its content. It was so hard to find good apps for learning Armenian, but this helps me a lot. Even though I’m still a beginner, I can learn easily step by step. In each module, there’s normally 4-8 lessons. Also there’s like a dictionary/translator as well.
