## What is Azhar Masjid?

Through the grace of Allah SWT and the generosity of our local community and many others, Azhar Masjid, under the management of qualified Islamic scholars, which is based in Forest Gate in the heart of the London borough of Newham, a diverse borough with a rich history, and home to one of the UK's largest Muslim communities. Our newly refurbished Masjid has been designed and constructed with the capacity to accommodate and cater for 450 worshippers in total.

Azhar Masjid is also home to the first public Islamic reference library in East London, which is situated above the prayer hall. This excellent and unique facility provides all with the opportunity to educate themselves and others about Islam as a religion, its teachings, history and much more.

Our primary aim is to serve the needs of the local Muslim community by providing them with a daily prayer facility and a place to seek Islamic education, through the variety of classes and other services we offer. We also welcome those from various wider communities including Muslims and Non-Muslims, those of all faiths and backgrounds, by providing them with the opportunity to learn about and understand Islam through education and social interaction. We are committed to a prosperous Newham through promoting peace and harmony amongst all, and creating a positive image of Islam in society.

Assalamualykum,After updating the app adhan is not coming full on iPhone even phone is unlocked.As we can’t hear adhan ,it’s feel different even when we r hearing it on phone during namaz time .please try to solve this problem.

This app created by none other than Azhar Masjid by the will of Allah, has proven to be very successful in giving the exact Salah and Jamaat times for all who open the app, updated to new times everyday. The amount of precision and accuracy put into this app truly describes the organised nature of our beloved Azhar Masjid, and Allah Azzawajal knows what a great future behold a Azhar Masjid and its academy. Especially the photo of the external wall of the Masjid encapsulates its environment and reveals the cleanliness of the building itself and even its surroundings. Once again, the information that is relayed on the homepage reveals to everyone everything they must know about prayer times and other notifications sent by the Masjid.

I personally very much appreciate the outcome of this app as a daily user and quite like to recommend this app to our other Brothers in Islam, so thank you Azhar Masjid for using your intentions and technology for good, and Alhamdulillah for giving a Masjid like you to us.
