*2026-03-20, version 1.6.2*

I’ve played this game for a couple of hours so far, and the storyline and missions are fun. It’s also so far completely voiceover accessible, and hopefully there’s a lot more experiences to have with it.

### 5/5 — Fun RPG

*2025-12-25, version 1.5.1*

Good text based rpg game, with simple but interesting combat mechanics. Reasonably priced in app purchases available but not necessary for progress. Very nice find!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-11-29, version 1.5.1*

This is an awesome game that everyone should try

### 5/5 — Excellent game!

*2025-11-23, version 1.5.1*

One of the best games I’ve ever played. The story and PvP combat modes are both entirely fascinating.
You’ll never run out of things to do.
The developer is very responsive to questions, and is constantly improving it, with updates both large and small.
The game has a wiki and a very active Discord channel to help deal with the most difficult parts of gameplay, or you can just figure it out yourself.
Considering the amount of fresh content, Premium adds up to almost no cost per hour played.
Happy gaming,
Aranior/Welman

### 5/5 — Brilliant game. Very highly recommended to all

*2025-10-19, version 1.4.3*

This game is fascinating and a lot of fun. The developer continues to improve it by adding new content, but there’s already enough there to keep you coming back indefinitely.
There’s an active Discord channel. There’s a link to it in the game, if you tap on the “Community” button. There, you can ask questions and get answers to them, and read answers to questions others have asked.
The developer is very actively involved there, and responds quickly to suggestions and requests.
The free version has a very generous feature set, but after a while you’ll probably decide to pay a bit for the one-time upgrade to premium, partly for the extra features, but also to support the developer. He’s done a great job already, and continues to improve the game.
Update October 2025: Recently, the developer has added a wiki, where players can share information, including tips on how to deal with particularly complex situations.

### 5/5 — Great game.

### 5/5 — Azmar Quest

*2025-07-11, version 1.3.24*

I love the story.

### 5/5 — Really great and fun

*2025-06-19*

I found out about this game through Game double tap. I think there should either be more levels or somewhere to get more life or the enemies need to not be able to have more life than you. It makes them way too strong and not be a higher level than you can be Because then you cannot beat them most of the time if you’re level 30 they should not be able to be 34 if I have 600 life and should only have maybe 630 life if you have a little extra but not 900. It’s a little too much. It’s very fun. I like the game. I really like the dungeons and I wish I could go in one by myself or just two people I kind of wish on the map you could just tap double tap the spots you want to go and it will take you there or you could pick a direction

### 5/5 — Excellent story

*2025-06-05, version 1.3.22*

This game deserves further main story chapters in future.

### 5/5 — Brilliant game. Very highly recommended to all

### 5/5 — 100% accessible with voiceover

*2025-04-24, version 1.3.20*

This game is so incredibly fun and for all of my fellow Blind gamers it is completely accessible with voiceover. I literally cannot say how much I love this game. It is so much fun and is challenging without being confusing. Download this at your own risk you may become antisocial you’re playing it so much

### 5/5 — Great game, greater dev

### 5/5 — Very enjoyable role-playing game!

*2025-04-01, version 1.3.20*

This game has been very fun to play each night – easy to understand and plenty to do. My only small gripe s would be the “get ready to fight” voice over and the rather simplistic story and characterisation. But those things aside, it’s a really fun game and you should check it out!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Data breach

*2024-03-29, version 1.2.9*

Careful with Azmar, just downloaded and made an account with email and password and got the apple pop up that there’s been a data breach and to reset my passwords. Very coincidental.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2024-03-28, version 1.2.9*

Doesn’t load, just sticks on that AI image of the witch woman

### 2/5 — Has some potential but poor balance

*2024-09-09*

I’ve been playing RPG’s since the 80s. Some of the interactions of the game of very tedious and even the. third battle just kills you. You need to grind monsters to gain levels to try and fight them again. After doing this, the next battle has the same thing. Impossible to beat unless you grind. this wants to funnel you into the pay cash app as there is no real strategy involved. I have no idea what the developer is thinking, but I would say stay away from this game unless you like mindless, grinding, and mindless combat. The combat might be better higher up in the game but killing off the players so early just leaves the bad taste in my mouth.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review, but please don't try to spread falsehoods about Azmar Quest. The battle against the Vice is literally impossible to lose. In fact, when your health is low, you receive a potion to heal yourself.

The only battle I admit could be controversial is the one against the Boss, as you have very few skills, 2 or 3 at most, and the Boss is not weak. However, even here, defeating him should be easy even with just 1-2 skills. All players manage to do it. Maybe you could try playing in Novice difficulty before giving 2 stars, or if you’re an experienced RPG player like you say, you can reset your skills so you can get better ones, or buy a potion from the Shop.

Keep in mind that Items are essential against though Bosses in Veteran difficulty. Also, you should try to get a skill that consumes energy, and then it should be even easier.

Just a note: in-app purchases are completely optional, I hate pay-to-win games, and they don't give you any real advantage over enemies, so even spending money wouldn’t help you beat that Boss.

I understand that in games today everyone wants to win without even thinking, but I really didn’t expect this kind of comment from a veteran RPG player, especially considering many new players have had no issues and have never died during Chapter 1, which is how it should be.

I don't like being too critical with reviews because all of them provide important feedback, so I'm sorry if I seem too critical, but I swear I really don't understand how it's possible that you're losing against that Boss in Chapter 1.

Update: After some thought, I realized that Azmar Quest might be new even for experienced players. So, in the next update, I will add some in-game tips to help players beat the Chapter 1 Boss (along with 1 free item, such as a Life Potion, to help complete the introductory chapter of the game without dying)

### 3/5 — Nice and accessible with lovely music.

*2025-02-11, version 1.3.17*

Keep up the good work but should have come with a content warning!!!

### 3/5 — Interesting Story hampered by gating

*2024-12-11*

I play a lot of rpgs in various forms and I want to start out by saying I liked what I have played so far. I have played up to Chapter 4 in the off line mode. I appreciate that I do not feel like I have to pay to win, even if there are items for sale. I am also very interested to see where this story goes since it is mixing in all sorts of genres, that I did not expect. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a casual type rpg.
All that being said, I do have a few things that I already don’t like. None of the systems in the game are very well explained and you kind of learn by trial and error. I still do not know the use for honor points, other than in the shop. Should I be saving them, I don’t know. But if that is the case it punishes me for picking anything other than the honorable choices in the game. As for choices, the game story is very linear in that you are forced through only one path of choices to complete the quests. You just have to figure out the correct order of choices the developer wanted you to pick. But my biggest gripe of the game is the gating. Why can I not earn enough levels to move to the next part of the story without wasting my time in the training area mindlessly grinding battles? And the side questing doesn’t help since it is on a timed unlock. This alone is why I have removed at least one star from my review.

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your review! I’m glad you like the game overall, even if your rating isn’t high. Let’s go through your points.

The game is an old-school RPG, so it’s normal for some things to need exploring instead of being explained right away. This has actually improved compared to a few versions before. I agree that the Honor system isn’t explained well. I’m slowly working on a game guide, but it’ll take some time.

As for the story being linear, that’s true, but there are choices that change some events. For example, if you contaminate Hawes' cure, Avery joins the Evil Court, and you fight her on the ship instead of going to the Island. Or another example at the end, you can choose to save Azmar or infect it and become evil, which entirely changes the next Extra Mission.

About grinding, that could definitely be a problem. If you’re playing on Novice, experience is a bit lower, but on Veteran, I thought it wouldn't be an issue. Did you have trouble between Chapter 2 and Chapter 3? Some players told me there wasn’t enough experience there, so I’ve already increased it, but I’m not sure if it’s enough. If it happened between other chapters, let me know, and I’ll adjust the experience there too! In the meantime, you can save Honor Points to unlock Extra Missions if you need more experience, as they give more experience than farming in training.

Anyway, thanks again for the feedback! I’ll keep working to improve the game even more!

### 3/5 — a litle too slow, but meh: good

*2024-11-09*

i like the storyline and the build up of character.

there are many things to improve like the menu on the armours and the slowness of combat and understanding whats happening in one look. but ok, i hope it gets better

**Developer response:** Hi, thank you for your review. I'm glad you like the game! About the slowness of combat, if you go to Options and then Game Options, you can enable instant turns, a newly released feature that speeds up the game significantly!

You can even enable auto-turns, which make it even faster. Maybe I should make it clearer to the players that this option exists.

If you try this option, let me know what you think and if it makes the battles more fun!

### 3/5 — Great game!

*2024-09-12*

Actually, a fantastic game, with just the right kinds of aaspects wanted in an RPG. I have not fully explored everything, as I've only completed chapter 2. The addition of romance possibilities is interesting, if not my thing. However, the reason this isn't rated as highly isn't due to anything done wrong by the game itself. Just, spelling and grammar errors. Otherwise, if you're looking for a fun story, with some great humor, check this one out!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you're enjoying the game.

You're right about the spelling and grammar errors. Recently, I started reviewing all the texts. In fact, the next update will include many corrections of typos and grammatical mistakes, though it will take some time to review everything in the game.

Luckily, some users on Discord are also helping me spot a few errors. I admit that writing most of the story and dialogues at 3 a.m. didn't help, but I'm slowly fixing everything :)

### 3/5 — Cute

### 5/5 — Best rpg

*2026-06-09*

This game is so good. The different classes are you unique with different abilities and a lot more more than I was expecting. I’ve heard some people complain that there’s not much to do after you beat the story, but I found that there is a ton of grinding to do to get your gear and skills up higher, and also work on the scrolls. The grinding also feels fun, and I would like to see some new things in the future. Some good ideas I have seen on discord or things like new classes, and harder dungeons. I stand by both of those things which would make the game better than anything ever possibly made. One thing I would like to add to this is a monthly event, where up to 10 people or maybe even more would be thrown into one giant labyrinth, and would have to survive the longest I think a battle Royale dungeon would be amazing. Maybe you could set traps for your enemies and fight other players. You could also get to some squares before other people. Maybe some new places in the labyrinth could be added for this mode, like a dark zone that lets you steal a bunch of stuff from any player, maybe a swap dungeon items or positions square, or even a very rare Square that there’s only one of per dungeon, that would let you send a boss after a player. This would be such a fun event, and you should be able to see who is the strongest in order, so you have an idea who to target

I am enjoying this game and it is a lot of fun

### 5/5 — Most accessible RPG as of yet

*2026-05-13*

As far as old school, RPG is concerned this is probably the most accessible for the visually impaired that I have found, and I have been searching for quite a long time. I really enjoyed the fact that you can choose to have different characters doing different things. I totally different times. And it’s not too complicated to level up and get experience and move your skills around All in all very satisfied

**Developer response:** Thank you for your awesome review! I'm really glad you like the game, and especially that the accessibility works well.
