### 4/5 — Good service

*2022-06-03, version 3.2.0*

The app is not totally user-friendly, but the service staff are great. They helped us resolved an issue and made it very convenient to get tested in the lobby of our hotel before leaving Italy.

### 2/5 — Useless, worrying about data privacy given shoddy app

*2022-05-05, version 3.2.0*

Apparently after registering myself and my kids and doing a first round of PCR tests adding another test is not supported.

The app is completely weird, as though it was half built for something larger and then they just rushed it out to capitalized on COVID. Because of this I worry about data privacy as I am not convinced they are HIPAA compliant properly or have very weak security controls. For example, they have limited support for password managers and arbitrary password reset intervals and no 2nd factor auth. Feels like a security design from 2008.

Going to start using LabCorp or others for tests going forward. Larger organizations with higher fiduciary responsibility.

### 4/5 — Good product

*2022-04-15, version 3.1.9*

Had to use this company for a recent trip to proctor a Covid test as it is the only company approved for home testing for the country I was visiting. The app is decent although I couldn’t add passport information within the app and had to go to the website. The messaging feature worked well, the reps responded quickly. The notifications worked, and it was great to be able to use my phone to do the video call for the test. The results were ready and in the format I needed within 20 minutes.

I had my own test which was not one that they sell, but by using a generic link that I learned about by calling them I was able to schedule my appointment.

The test appointment was scheduled for EST but with the recent change to EDT the time was confusing and I got pinged to show up at 9am and again at 10am. They should allow you to pick EST or EDT.

Other than the few little hiccups, overall it was a good experience and the pricing for the tests is very reasonable.

### 1/5 — Unbelievably Awful!

*2022-04-05, version 3.1.9*

And, now, 5 and 1/2 months later, I get a “we’re sorry, we’ll do better” response.

Awful. A total scam. Ought to be in jail.

Recommended by Delta airlines, I bought the tests for trip to the UK. First you have to also download Ellume, which is a complete mess, too. Between the 2 apps they can’t decide what time it is! After making my first appt for a test, within an hour - I had THREE different times given to me, variously as PDT, PST and UTC, by both text and e-mail. I called the 800 number and was told “OH, it doesn’t matter, they are all the same time”. Just absurd service!!

### 1/5 — Never worked

*2022-04-04, version 3.1.9*

After entering in my login info, I received a message that said, “please wait while we sync your data.” I waited for days, deleted, re-download it, and re-enter my information only to get the same message.

### 2/5 — Ripped off for two tests

*2022-03-31, version 3.1.9*

After a very convoluted process to get our family of four set up for a proctor, we ended up getting charged for two appointments we didn’t have because of errors on their end. Still trying to talk to someone about getting our refund, even with email proof of the mistake. It’s a very janky app and company, but the test observation went well and we got home. The problem was not communicated on their end and cost us $50.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2022-03-30, version 3.1.9*

This app and the website were difficult to use, I was scheduled and charged for 2 appointments at the same time even though I only booked one, the customer service was poor when I messaged them after noticing I wad charged twice, I feel like I was scammed by this company and would strongly encourage others to find an alternative

### 5/5 — Worked flawlessly for Covid Antigen Travel Test

*2022-03-20, version 3.1.9*

This app was a great find to get a video observation for self obtained antigen test to travel back to the US from Mexico.

They were very personable and efficient. They also were very detailed on performing the test and clear with instructions.

Happy we found this app!

### 5/5 — Stress free process and quick result

*2022-03-19*

I used the service to get the proof of negative COVID test result required for US entry. I could book the time slot I choose (basically, any slots - 24/7- were open the day before), and all I had to do is to prepare the test kit and photo ID. I performed the nasal swab in front of a proctor (virtually using a camera on my phone), completed the steps as I usually do to get the result, then kept showing the test kit to the camera while waiting to get the results. Once done (in 15 minutes), take a picture of the negative results. I received the pdf document within 5 minutes. I will absolutely use the service again.

**Developer response:** " Hi,! It makes our day to hear that we were able to provide you 5-star service. We’ll make sure the entire team at Azova receives your feedback – they’ll be thrilled to hear your kind words. Thanks, AZOVA."

### 5/5 — Excellent customer service

*2022-03-18, version 3.1.9*

Our family used Azova for COVID testing to meet requirements for travel. It was a very smooth process and we received the reports in PDF format to submit to airline within 15 minutes of getting results. Very professional and helpful representatives.

### 1/5 — Stole my money

*2024-10-27*

I knew I have a UTI I just need antibiotics right? I work overnights and during the day I have to care for my toddler so no I don’t have the time nor money to see an in person doctor. Well out shopping at Walmart I see AZOVA has a uti bundle that comes with test strips and a voucher for a free telehealth visit. I pick it up because finally a break I’ve been struggling for weeks with the uti yes I know unhealthy but ultimately unavoidable in my circumstance. So I get home take the test and sure enough positive for a uti okay I already knew that. I schedule my appointment and a provider contacts me to let me know he will be with me shortly. Once he contacts me he said I needed to go see an obgyn or go to an urgent care. Keep in mind I bought this because the box stated it was a cheaper alternative to going to the doctor. So I wasted my money to be told I have a uti in which I already know that I do and not receive the antibiotics I need. Save your money because if you need further treatment you’ll still have to spend the money elsewhere.

### 1/5 — Where is my refund?

*2023-07-25, version 3.2.8*

I cancelled an appointment through the triage assistant Royd as I was asked to use a Chicago based formulary. I said that I will not accept and asked that my appointment be canceled. I was informed that it was canceled in my chat. But today I see $69 posted. I tried following up with Royd but haven’t received a response. Please refund my money.

### 1/5 — Worst Covid service yet

*2022-06-06, version 3.2.0*

Something that was supposed to add convenience to my vacation cost me 2 hours to test myself and one of my daughters with the Ellume test- it would have been far less time and less money to walk into a clinic. NEVER AGAIN. App is glitchy, instructions are vague, the process is time consuming, and the proctors have chronically bad connections.

### 1/5 — What’s the point of booking an appointment slot when the proctor is really late

*2022-06-01, version 3.2.0*

Proctor was 15 minutes late to my time slot — when you’re traveling, every minute counts, so why even offer times as specific as a “2:04pm-2:12pm” window when the proctor doesn’t roll in until 2:20?

The whole point of this service is to be a dependable option that is superior to finding a test locally wherever you happen to be traveling before returning to the US (at least at the time of writing, supervised tests are still required to return to the US from elsewhere).

App is incredibly overbuilt with the Ellume Bluetooth test kit. This whole thing seems to generate a ton of plastic waste and be incredibly and unnecessarily overbuilt.

### 1/5 — One of the least user friendly apps I’ve ever used

*2022-05-30, version 3.2.0*

If I didn’t need this app to schedule my covid test before boarding our cruise, I wouldn’t use it. Many of the links/features are broken and the app regularly freezes. If you’re considering this app for your healthcare records- I recommend searching for an alternative!

### 1/5 — Can’t find anything

*2022-05-28, version 3.2.0*

I’ve used several different healthcare portal apps. This one is the least intuitive and doesn’t seem to actually import the appointments with this provider, or update any lab results. There’s only a COVID 19 pass, which is confusing to me. The only functional thing in this app for me is messaging, but even that is difficult to find who I want to message (are we able to message individual providers? No.)

### 1/5 — Horrible Experience

*2022-05-21, version 3.2.0*

I joined my appointment a few minutes ahead of time waited for 20 mins and no one showed up, no message saying the providers are busy or any indication when anyone will show up.
When you’re providing travel services the least you could do is provide a message about your delay.
I ended up overseas and trying to find a lab that could give me test results within a few hours of travel.
I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone and would never use them again.

### 1/5 — Unable to log in

*2022-05-07, version 3.2.0*

After I log in, it takes me to a page saying it is syncing my data and to wait. I’ve left my phone alone on this page for a long time. No luck. Tried reinstalling the app and turning my phone on and off. Nothing is working. Please fix! I will change this review once this is resolved.

### 1/5 — Horrible experience

*2022-04-23, version 3.1.9*

I traveled to Canada and needed to have a supervised COVID test to get back to the US. Took 90 minutes just to schedule an appointment to do the test. The app is absolutely horrible and clunky. Horrible horrible horrible !

### 1/5 — Awful, buggy app, with unreliable service

*2022-04-16, version 3.1.9*

Recommend finding some/any other testing service. This app (and the website) are ridiculously buggy and poorly designed, and the pro tiering service repeatedly fails to deliver the most bas I follow-through.

Bottom line: Relying on Azova/Ellume means risking missing your flight because the service is deficient.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Simple

*2022-06-17, version 3.2.1*

The testing process was really simple. The proctor was very kind and walked me through the process. It makes it easier if you take a pre-test 24-48 hours before your scheduled test. The familiarity with the testing kit made it easier.

### 5/5 — Super easy COVID test proctoring

*2022-06-15, version 3.2.1*

We used AZOVA to proctor our Covid test while in Canada so we could return to the US. It was $20/person to get a proctor to guide us through the test and provide certified results so we could return home. Proctor was helpful and professional. Certification was provided within 30 minutes of taking the test. Would use them again for sure.

### 5/5 — Convenient

*2022-06-11, version 3.2.1*

Fast and convenient. Staff was very nice. Very straightforward. Make sure to download app before your appointment and have a way to prop your phone up during the process.

### 5/5 — Great service

*2022-05-29, version 3.2.0*

This is a very convenient service to be able to access. I wasn’t sure if I would receive in time my Covid test results from my care provider, before boarding the cruise ship. So I was able to do a home test quickly through Azova and get my documentation needed to travel. It was reasonably priced and will use them again if needed. I have recommended to others to use Azova when needing a Covid test documented for travel. Thank you for your excellent service.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2022-05-26, version 3.2.0*

Really easy to use and figure out. After creating an account we scheduled an appointment to have someone proctor our at home test. Much appreciated!

### 5/5 — Review for Cedrick!!!

*2022-05-21, version 3.2.0*

Used Azova for the Ellume Covid-19 test observation. Cedrick C. was the observer for my husband and I. He explained everything in detail, was very patient, and didn’t waste our time. Will be using Azova again, if needed in the near future. Thanks again Cedrick!!!

### 5/5 — Excellent option to satisfy US travel requirements

*2022-05-14, version 3.2.0*

This wound up being a great option for satisfying the US re-entry testing requirements. Being able to pack a couple rapid tests and complete the observation from the comfort of my hotel room the day before my flight was quite the relief—much less stressful than trying to find an overseas testing facility. I got the pdf documentation within 15 minutes of submitting my results.

### 5/5 — Time saver

*2022-05-08, version 3.2.0*

Excellent app. Great service.

### 5/5 — Therapist Approved

*2022-04-01, version 3.1.9*

I’ve been using Azova as an affordable option to be hippa compliant for over two years now. They have worked out the early version bugs. The app notifies with push notifications when I have an appointment and the chat lets me stay up with clients without using my personal number or a lame google voice work around.

### 5/5 — Worked very well on our trip to Europe.

*2022-03-23, version 3.1.9*

The video call was well organized and was on time. Instructions were very clear and we received the results immediately.
