The app is incredibly simple and a delight to use, allowing user’s the opportunity to visualise what one of Band & Olufsen’s products would like in the living space you are currently using the app in. This is so useful, especially as you can take a picture and send it on to another person if you are collaborating with someone (e.g. a loved one or interior designer) on your home interior decor. Why just a four star score then? Unfortunately the app is let down by the fact it only has a limited subset of Bang & Olufsen’s product available to place in your virtual space. Currently if you want to see what the Beoplay M3/M5 multi-room speakers, or the larger Beoplay A6 and Beloit 17 speakers would look like in that space you cannot do so. With Bang & Olufsen phasing our the Beoplay brand, hopefully these products will get added to the AR experience app sometime soon. Nonetheless I felt this problem was significant enough that I had to dock the app a full star. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — How? *2024-04-21* I dont have a masters degree in electronics. I’m still trying to figure out how to set up my A-9. It’s been a year already. Help! ### 1/5 — B&O new scanning app *2023-05-30* In my location it is not working and seems so unnecessary— maybe fine for new purchases with someone who doesn’t understand ‘placement’. All I want to do is pair my iPhone with my Beolit 20 which they’ve been married in the past, but I’ve be away. Now they are not recognizing each other (though the speaker shows on my phone) But the scanning feather is not necessary for customers who know where they have a speaker and need to Bluetooth it. I do t see the point of this app. And the other B&O app doesn’t function properly either, unable to provide stereo pairing of 2 Beoplay A1 speakers, having tried a dozen times. Very intuitive to use. The only issue I had was sometimes the scale was out and the only way to correct the sizing was to start over, not that selection takes much effort - just a few quick steps.
