As a new drone pilot, reading everything from the FAA site shows this app as the one to use. In addition, any app in this family other than Air Control does not do a good job of displaying layers so they are obvious which type of airspace you are looking at. Instead the FAA outsourced this functionality to 5 private companies so they can charge for in app purchases while delivering tax-payer funded data.
