I work in finance and I have 3 HP 10bll that I use to keep at the office, in my car and at home. I have not used any of them since I bought this app several years ago. The app works better than the physical calculators do. It has better tactile response as there are no key glitches like the physical calculator sometimes have. That said, Ernest (the dev) has faithfully reproduced TI’s TVM implementation (which I find painful coming from HP’s approach in the 12C, 10B, 41CX etc. which I’ve much experience). TI’s TVM solution however is not Ernest’s fault, and in light of that I’m revising my review. Yes I know - HP variants are available - AllRPN is how I actually how I found BaFin (via Ernet's website) - AllRPN's color scheme was too too garish for me - I would not be able to look at red and green on black for very long - so I thought I'd try BaFin ... Yes I’m rather fussy, it's a consequence of being a programmer of some tenure. ### 4/5 — New second function color is awful *2012-03-30, version 2.4* Great app, and new update is much faster. I use it regularly, and would highly recommend. I really liked the new metal scheme, but as stated above the new second function highlight color is awful at best. It is excellent to show a class because it shows the numbers in the TVM variables. It has the same keystrokes as the BA II Plus calculator. The tape is great for reviewing typos in doing calculations to figure out what went wrong and fix it. I have been using this calculator since it was first developed as it is always with me on my iPhone or iPad.
