Downloaded the app, created a new account with the same registration email and under the races, the 130th isn’t listed. When you click on any other race to explore the app, there’s only spectator or registrant, no back button? It would be better for a better sense of the course to be conveyed. For example, I had to Google where Heartbreak Hill was. A topographical contour would be instructive, labeled by towns. Any more photographic images of the course would add a lot. This is not to disparage the app- I was very happy to track Julie as she ran, sitting here in the Hudson Valley. Thank you! ### 4/5 — Almost felt like I was there. *2026-04-20* I thought it was great, I could follow the two runners I was interested in real time. Almost felt like I was there, and was able to chat with spectators who were onsite and let them know when they might catch a brief glimpse of our runner. I don’t know if the screen freezes were the fault of my equipment, the App, or if the runners, decided to take a pee stop. The breaks were annoying, but eventually the runners would teleport to another spot further up the course. I liked the banner notifications, but wish there had been a few more. It would nice to have it overlaid on Google Earth so we could feel like a drone overhead. ### 4/5 — Workable, no frustrations app *2026-04-20* I don’t have to scratch my head and ask “why does this race app make things so difficult” when I use the BAA app. Some other Marathon apps just aren’t worth the bother. I like being able to track the movement of my running friends as they make their way through the Boston Streets. Easy to see ‘through’ the tall buildings as you track a runner - nicely done!
