### 4/5 — Great Product—Needs Syncing Functioning Between Devices

*2017-01-03*

I've really loved this app. It's super simple and has the cleanest interface of apps I've used. But I wish there was a way for my wife and I to make separate entries on the same log from different phones. It would make it much easier for when I get up with the baby to bottle feed; I could record the entry without having to take my wife's phone. If there's a way to do this, please let me know!

### 4/5 — Decent recording app

*2017-01-02*

I got this app when I needed to track feedings for a failure to thrive baby. It works well for recording how much the baby was eAting but I also needed to track his much I wAs pumping and when. So I had to switch back to paper for both. If I only need to track one thing ( like eating when baby is sick or how often I am pumping ) it works pretty well. I like the graphing feature and ease of use.

### 4/5 — Simple, intuitive app- could use a few tweaks

*2016-11-24*

This app is easy to use and a great sub for the pen and paper notations I was making to track feedings and output. One improvement I'd love to see is on the summary screen. Would like it to be easier to see the breaks in between days so I can evaluate how many feedings/poops he has had overall in a day. Perhaps if there was a total/summary at the end of every day showing cumulative inputs/outputs... otherwise this is great. Thanks!

### 4/5 — Really helpful

*2016-10-03*

So far this is the most helpful feeding tracker I've used. I enjoy the fact that it's quick to put in diapers and feedings. The last app I used had too much information to put in when I was trying to hurry. The simplicity of this is great example being the diapers. On the same screen you ether tap the pee or poo side and select a little, normal, or a lot. Simple. I don't have time to be putting int be color and consistency of her poos every time I change her! Minor adjustments could be made, like the nap part. Wish there was an easier way to put in sleep times. Although maybe there is and I just haven't explored that part of the app enough. Anyways, this app is great, I'd definitely recommend it :)

### 4/5 — Overall helpful, could use some tweaks

*2015-09-07*

Overall, I'm a fan of the Babio app and have been using it since day one with my now 11 week old. A few suggestions I have for the app:

-The display of the length of time for breastfeeding. Previously it was on the edges and now they're all to one side, which makes it more complicated to remember which side you last fed on. I'd suggest that if it's the left side they ate on, the time is on the far left side, and if the right breast, then the far right side.

-It would be great if on the screen displaying the last feeding it would tell you not only the time but which side your baby ate on last. (EX: Last feeding at 11:00am R / L (for right or left side))

-I've had several times where I start the feeding timer and go to another app, only to switch back to Babio and the timer erases. Not sure if this is just a glitch, as it doesn't happen every time, but at least 1-2x per week it happens so I have to run the stopwatch on my iPhone in addition, which shouldn't be necessary. This is also true with the nap timer, that it will stop and erase if the app isn't left open (and naps are obviously longer than feedings so it's not really feasible to leave the app open on the main screen for 2 hours).

In general, it's a handy app, especially given that it's free! Thanks =)

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 3/5 — Good log

*2020-06-26*

I have three kids, this is the first time using an app to log ( I used notebooks for my other children - 4 and 2 yrs old) My baby is 11 weeks, I’ve used app since at home. I have it three stars because it doesn’t fully address all my needs for a log. The issues I have are:

Last Feeding displayed are bottle feedings ( baby has had about 4 bottle in 11 weeks) never shows last nursing feeding time on that screen.

History color scheme for which side she fed on is similar. I have to go into the detail screen

### 3/5 — Works great, few bugs.

*2019-03-31*

I love this app for tracking all of my little ones daily habits, but it’s very frustrating to go back and enter data when I haven’t been able to live enter it. Particularly the sleep potion. The end time automatically defaults to the current time, regardless of what I list the end time as. So, I have to enter it and then go back in and edit. Can be very tedious. It would also be great to have a list function for each of the sections in addition to the visual. Even if it’s just an export option.

### 3/5 — Pretty good, could use needed enhancements.

*2019-02-02*

This app is easy to use and helps you track all the key metrics that your pediatrician will ask about.

There are some room for improvements to help give a mom/dad insight into higher level key information she/he is tracking on this app. Hopefully the app developers read this! For instance, in the overview section for diapers it would be more beneficial to have a daily count of stinky and wet diapers than the bubbles. For the nap time it would be useful to have an overview that gave total sleep time in the day vs night. In the breastfeeding overview section it would be ideal to have the total time per feeding as well as the daily average time. In the details on breastfeeding it would be nice to be able to mark which side (left or right) that you started feeding on.

### 3/5 — Good app, lovely layout, one REALLY irritating bug

*2017-06-04*

So I love this app. The look, the layout, usability, UI, etc. etc. etc.

I have one REALLY irritating complaint. The overview screen refuses to show anything but bottle feedings ever since I input one. My baby is mostly breast fed with the occasional pumped bottle thrown in when necessary but since I input a bottle feeding the overview screen will only show last bottle feeding. Not last feeding. So the quick and easy glance at the last everything feature is useless. Fix this and I have zero complaints!

### 3/5 — Good for a free app

*2017-05-27*

I only use the app for tracking feedings, though I did use it to track diapers during the first 4 weeks. It is simple & easy to navigate. I do wish that on the main screen that shows "last feeding" it had a quick breakdown of the side that the last feeding occurred on. Also, I typically feed on both sides at one feeding, and alternate which side I start on for each feeding, so having some notation (a star or color difference) for which side I started on would be helpful. Lastly, I love the feeding chart "overview", but the colors are all so similar, it is very difficult to see the light blue circle on the light blue background.

### 4/5 — Pretty Good Overall.

*2023-07-22*

I do like this app I downloaded several similar ones and kept 3 this being 1 of them. However I do wish it had a pumping tracking option and more options when it comes to diapers. As well as better options with the amount of milk taken. —But overall it’s a good app that I would recommend.

### 4/5 — Love the app

*2019-10-18*

Really helped me regulate having a baby as a single mom. So many questions were asked. I gave it a four. Cause I wanted to export the data. For my own memory I guess. My kid recently deleted the app and I lost it all. She’s 20 months today and it shouldn’t bother me. But I had all her stats in one place. And couldn’t reload it. Other than that. Now we just track her naps. Super helpful to see them in a graph.

### 4/5 — Super helpful! A few suggestions...

*2019-07-10*

We just got the go ahead to let our son eat on his own schedule. Now that we aren’t waking him every 3 hours, I wanted to start tracking so I could look for patterns. I like the interface of this app. It’s super easy to use and I like that I can track how long I nurse on each side. That’s a huge improvement from just using my phone’s stopwatch app. I’d definitely recommend this app!!

A few suggestions:

I wish the feeding details page showed total time in addition to how long on each side.

The feeding overview page could use a key so you know which breast is light blue vs dark blue.

On the main page (smiley face section) I wish it showed the time of last feeding. I breastfeed for all feedings except one and it seems to be stuck on the time I did the bottle, which isn’t very helpful.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2018-09-11*

I really like the app, it’s visually attractive, simple and functional. I would only improve the feeding overview graphic.
I have been trying to see if my baby is getting some feeding pattern since it’s a mess all time, and having marked the hours on the left would be very useful. Changing the bubbles for stripes to make it more accurate and instead of making a difference in size between breast and bottle feed I would have it in color or pattern.
Also being able to go back to previous weeks and looking at the total of ounces and breast feeding time per day would be awesome.

### 4/5 — Incredibly Helpful

*2017-06-09*

I have used this app since my little one was a month old. Before this I drove myself crazy trying to write everything down to keep track. I love how user friendly the app is. It would be great if it kept track of which breast baby fed off of last. It would also be great if the right and left breast on the feeding graph were two completely different colors for a quick reference. Overall, I am really pleased with Babio!

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nice simple/understandable graphics & User Experience

*2020-02-11*

I found this app after thinking, “there has to be an app for this” while getting irritated filling out the small cramped spaces of my feeding/wets/poops log with my newborn. I do wish you could choose/select whether you want to go for 2 or 3 hour stretches with the feeding reminders. Otherwise, this is exactly what I needed.

### 5/5 — My favorite out of all the feeding apps

*2019-08-23*

I’ve tried multiple feeding apps since my daughter was born, I wasn’t fond of most of them. I wanted one where I could easily go back and edit the times of feeding, or where I could look back and see how much she has been eating which surprisingly a lot of apps didn’t offer. I just like how it’s set up a lot more and how simple it is

### 5/5 — Very Easy to Use

*2018-06-07*

As a first time mom I was worried about keeping track of my son’s feeding time, diapers and etc. I knew the Dr would ask me these questions and this app helps me keep things organized. I like that each feature can be customized into a little or alot for his diaper amount and that each bottle feeding is separated by half an ounce. It’s easy to use for me. I’d recommend it for moms to use as well. Makes my life simple.

### 5/5 — Best app for busy Moms

*2018-05-18*

As a mom of three kids (4yrs, 1 1/2yrs and premie) I couldn’t keep track of all my LO’s feedings and diaper changes. When asked by anyone when the last one was I would just guess. This app has helped so much and it’s so easy to use. If I forget to put in a diaper change or feeding I can go back and change it. The app has helped me know when my LO needs to go up in amounts of the bottles. Best app!!!

### 5/5 — So helpful!

*2016-12-08*

My 1 mth old has been going through some developmental changes I believe so his sleeping and eating patterns have been sporadic. This app has helped me track the day better esp. when he may
Eat 3 times in 3 hours or stay awake for 5+ hrs. My only suggestion would be totaling out each day and also displaying the sleep cycle chart differently. It's kind hard to see/read. Awesome and simple interface!

### 5/5 — Perfect for my needs!

*2015-12-07*

I mostly wanted something to help me keep track of feedings and this works well. I am not so much concerned with nap tracking or diaper tracking, although I do keep track of soiled diapers. (Keeping track of wet diapers would be a bit excessive, I find, since there are around 15-20 a day with my newborn.)

The app itself is user friendly, easy to learn, and aesthetically pleasing. I would highly recommend :)
