I hadn't used this iPad in a while, so I completely forgot about it. (My newer iPad doesn't have that switch.) So now, the sound works fine. I bought this app (without ads) for my god-granddaughter, and she loved it. I wanted to limit her access to other things, like my email, so I reset the iPad, and re-downloaded the app. The sounds are now gone, making it boring for her. It is full of pornography, violence and other content not suitable for children. It is quite irresponsible to have one of the games (nursery rhymes) link to a playlist directly on YouTube that opens up within The phone's web browser -- where they system can't even have the safe mode on. I try so hard to protect my toddlers from exposure to this content and would think other parents, especially ones creating content for them, would think to assist too. No child will just watch what is on the screen. Like adults they will start clicking on all of the other suggested videos and then be led down paths we don't want them to go down. I hope you will remove this link from the app--or other solutions would be linking to the playlist within YouTube Kids or embedding the playlist into your website and linking to it there.
