### 1/5 — Pornographic advertisements on a baby app? Why?

*2026-01-26*

I saw a completely pornographic advertisement on this app within the first 5 minutes of even trying to set it up. This is sick. Idk what type of freaks made this app but it’s highly inappropriate and I’m reporting it.

**Developer response:** Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take this very seriously — any inappropriate ad is completely unacceptable and against our standards.

To clarify how Baby Lock works: ads are only shown to parents during the setup screen. Once Baby Lock is activated, your child sees NO ads whatsoever. We've also included an ad-free purchase option if you'd prefer to remove ads entirely.

The ads shown are served by Google AdMob, and we have strict content filters enabled on our end. Inappropriate ads can occasionally slip through the ad network's filters, and we sincerely apologize for that experience. We've reported this issue to our ad provider to prevent it from happening again.

If you could email us at info@fifodale.com with a screenshot or description of the ad, it would help us report and block it directly. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to keeping this app safe for families

### 2/5 — Does not lock

*2026-08-01*

Little boy loves it but is too easy to get off the app. Not locked at all!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, and we’re really happy to hear that your little boy loves the app! ❤️

For the screen to remain securely locked, Guided Access needs to be enabled on the device. We’ve included an in-app guide and animation showing how to set it up, as iOS requires Guided Access to prevent a child from leaving the app.

If you’re referring to the unlock pattern being too easy, you can also change the pattern from Settings and hide the pattern hint for extra protection.

We’ve put a lot of care into making Baby Lock both fun for children and useful for parents, so we’d really appreciate it if you could try these settings. If they solve the issue, we’d be grateful if you would consider updating your review. ❤️
