The book is excellent quality and the pictures printed well. The paper is slightly matted and not super glossy which I like. It turned out better than I could have imagined. Using the app was easy and when an issue did occur, which was my fault for changing phone numbers and not updating the app, they were quick with communication and fixing the issue. The only thing I wish were different would be more options for the family history/ family tree page. I’m making one for my second child now. Truly a wonderful gift. ### 4/5 — Great app but need web UI *2025-10-27, version 8.1.0* I love this! I was able to make a gorgeous book. BUT I found it really difficult to do a lot of the editing on my phone. Wish they had a web UI available for easier text editing. ### 4/5 — More than a pretty penny *2025-06-15, version 7.0.4* First of all, I love the convenience of the app and how simple it was for me to upload pictures and memories each month! I really loved the set up, how easy it was to use and the ability to add extra pages. The quality of the book is amazing. The book is absolutely gorgeous! It is a really special keepsake for your baby and I’m glad I chose it. My only complaint is the cost. It was a $50 subscription fee and then a $100 ordering fee. I also was charged to upgrade after my subscription ended and I still need access to my book to finish edits. I rushed to finish the edits and had given myself so many times to proofread but still found a few mistakes that I had missed. This is not something they can fix once your book has been made so just be cautious of that. I wish the book wasn’t so expensive and I would use them again for the toddler edition, but it’s just too much for one book. ### 3/5 — Pay attention to your expiration date and time! *2025-05-03, version 6.1.10* I knew my premium subscription expired today, so I’ve been working had to get my book finished. I had it in my cart for $99 then had to edit my address. Within that editing time my subscription must have expired (at 10:47pm, I figured I’d have until midnight as my cancelation email only said it expired on May 2) and it jumped to $165 plus shipping. Disappointed as I was excited to order this book but now I find it too expensive. ### 5/5 — Absolutely love this book *2025-04-23, version 6.1.10* I spent the last year writing notes and putting in photos to this app, and I was nervous about receiving my final book because of the amount of time I put into it. My expectations were far exceeded and it is something I will cherish forever. I have already started on her toddler book which I was not originally going to do, but after seeing how much I love her baby book I just know I have to do it. ### 4/5 — Just Perfect! *2025-04-01, version 6.1.10* This has been so fun to put together as my child grew! I liked having the prompts to be able to help me brainstorm, but also have the ability to change the titles, captions, and layouts of the pages. When I found out that she and my son were expecting my first grandson, I decided to create an account and make a baby book. Throughout her pregnancy and baby Dawson’s first year, I have secretly added pictures and information. The book arrived a few days ago and it is perfect!!! I am not the most technologically skilled grandmother but it really was easy to add information to the book. I am giving this to my DIL at the end of the month as a surprise birthday gift. I knew I wouldn’t keep up with a baby book but this has made it so easy. I just add pictures as I like them for each month and the writing prompts have helped stay on top of milestones as well. Can’t wait to have this at the end of his first year . ### 4/5 — Stay Away *2025-01-15, version 6.1.10* Very disappointed with this app. Unless you love throwing money away, try another app. To start, you need to pay for a monthly/yearly subscription for the most basic features and very limited pages. You absolutely will need to add more pages to make it worth it. To add pages, more money! To simply export as a PDF, more money! To actually get it printed, you guessed it…more money! All those costs on top of the outrageous monthly fee. There’s no way to share your digital books with friends and family via a sharing link as other apps allow. There’s no desktop support, this can only be done on an iPhone or iPad. Difficult to use and VERY basic. I finally ordered the book for my son’s first year, and it’s fantastic. My son has had use read through it many times already. I will keep using the app for his future years and for my baby I’m expecting now. I couldn’t recommend this app enough. ### 2/5 — Needs a desktop version! *2024-12-30, version 6.1.10* This app would be so great if there were a desktop version too. It’s so hard to type and insert longer paragraphs on a phone for the different prompts, especially longer ones. Not to mention how hard it is to read what you’ve typed when you can’t zoom in on the mobile app, or put in multiple photos from way back in your photo library. It would be so much easier to drag and drop photos on a desktop or laptop. I’ve had the app for 2 years and really want to finish and print my daughter’s baby book (not to mention starting ones for my other two kids) but I’m finding it so hard to do on a mobile app alone. I delayed getting it for so long because life took over and other things took priority and it felt like a big purchase! It is not cheap - however, now having it in my hands I will say it is worth EVERY penny. I am over the moon thrilled with my book. And I have to say - I had high expectations!! But it far exceeded those! The size, the quality, the design, I have not found a flaw or anything I dislike it is honestly perfect. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Terrible app and terrible service *2025-08-01, version 7.0.4* I downloaded the app and was unable to create any notebooks. I contacted customer service and was told to do all the typical things, delete app, restart, etc and then send a video of my issue. I sent the video and was told the developers would look into it and come up with a solution. Meanwhile I’ve signed up for a free trial and subsequent subscription for the app. After numerous emails about my subscription and free trial, I’ve heard nothing. I cannot use the app and yet I’m still losing my free trial time and will potentially be charged. Terrible customer service and unusable app. ### 1/5 — Don’t download *2025-05-20, version 6.1.10* You have to pay to access 95% of it on top of buying the book. So you pay to fill it out then pay to buy it and ship it. Don’t do it. ### 1/5 — Cash grab *2025-03-03, version 6.1.10* This is such a cute idea but it’s a subscription on top of then buying your book. Definitely not worth it in my opinion. I don’t need to pay that much to have the book printed in the end. There are other places to fill in pages with photos and get a printed book that doesn’t require a subscription. ### 1/5 — Suddenly Unusable *2024-12-03, version 6.1.10* The entire app and website are suddenly covered with what appears to be Google Adsense content, possibly hacked. Very disappointed if I lost all my work not to mention my fully paid yearlong subscription. ### 1/5 — Not worth the price! *2024-08-08, version 6.1.9* I’m not one to write reviews, but when they increased the monthly price of the subscription, I was through. It was already frustrating that with the basic subscription you can’t customize any of the page formatting, and the cost of the books on top of everything is crazy. Save yourself money and don’t get this app. ### 1/5 — $$$$ *2024-03-28, version 6.1.0* The app is good and mostly fine to use when there arent bugs. But the real issue I have is the $50 subscription fee that you have to pay MULTIPLE times if you don’t finish your book in one year. I had a hard postpartum year and tried to keep up with the book but couldn’t. Well I went back to finish my book and had to pay another $50 to finish it ($100 so far) and then I’ll have to pay for the actual book on top of this (another at least $100)?! Deciding if I just call it a sunk cost and make a book elsewhere bc I will not be using them again for future years or children. I can’t afford it! ### 1/5 — If you change phone numbers you cannot access . *2024-03-06, version 6.0.2* I have been using this app for the first 4 months of my baby’s life and I really love it. It has made it possible to keep up with all his milestones since I can add info as I think of it and then go back and proof it later. I typically try to write the monthly page and then go back at another time to do the photos for the month/add any other info I might not have initially wrote about. As much as I have enjoyed this app I have a big issue with the fact that you can only login by phone number and since no longer have that number I can’t get the code to get to my book. Now I have wasted my time, money for additional pages and lost all of my work since I can’t get into the app. Normally it stays logged in but when I went to do my baby’s 5month update it wanted me to put in the code sent to my old number. I’m very disappointed and hope there is a way for me to regain access to my book. ### 1/5 — The App is bad *2023-10-27, version 5.2.1* This app never has opened and I have downloaded it twice because the advertisement on tik tok was really appealing. It doesn’t work ### 1/5 — Don’t subscribe *2023-09-26, version 5.2.1* Whatever you do dont! You’ll pay for it and won’t get any of the premium features you pay for. Even when subscribed. It will tell you oh you need a premium you check your subscription it’s premium there is no other level and it still doesn’t give you the features you’ve paid for! Total scam ### 1/5 — Just Got App *2023-03-03, version 5.0.0* You’d think they would do a better job of their set up for adding a child. If you click on the Month and Year within the calendar to add the child’s DOB/due date, it doesn’t let you select the day. So you have to click “confirm” and then it brings you back to the current day—an endless loop. So you have to manually scroll back. When I had 10 minutes eating breakfast, or time while baby nursed or napped, I could hop on the app, add some pictures and notes and quickly jump to the next task. It took me a bit longer than I expected to finish it but when I did and it arrived I was very excited and emotional. My husband had not seen it so it was a surprise to him. He teared up multiple times while flipping through the pages. It was a beautiful moment!
