## What is Baby Talkie?

Baby Talkie turns two of your own devices into a simple, private baby monitor — with live video and audio. Leave one device in the room as the Baby Unit and keep the other with you as the Parent Unit.

SEE AND HEAR THE NURSERY
• Live video and audio stream from the Baby Unit to your Parent Unit over your home Wi‑Fi.
• A low‑light mode helps you see in a dim room. Video is foreground‑only — it pauses if the Baby Unit's screen locks.
• Prefer audio only? Turn the camera off and just listen.

TALK BACK
• Hold to talk and soothe your little one with your voice from the other room.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Video and audio travel directly between your two devices on your local network.
• The connection is encrypted, and nothing is uploaded to any server or the cloud.
• No account to create. Pairing is done in person with a QR code, so only your paired device can connect.

STAY AWARE, CALMLY
• On‑device sound detection can let you know when the room gets noisy.
• A clear connection indicator never shows "live" when the stream has actually stopped.
• A quiet, uncluttered interface for day and night — full Light and Dark mode.
• English and Arabic, with full right‑to‑left support.

BABY TALKIE PREMIUM (OPTIONAL)
Core monitoring and the sound and connection alerts are always free. Premium unlocks secondary extras such as additional caregivers and extended history. Baby Talkie Premium is an auto‑renewable subscription (monthly, 3‑month, or yearly). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.

PLEASE READ — WHAT BABY TALKIE IS NOT
Baby Talkie is a convenience monitor, not a safety or medical device. It cannot detect breathing, illness, or emergencies, and it does not prevent harm. It never replaces an adult checking on a child in person. Monitoring can be interrupted at any time — for example by Wi‑Fi problems, a dead battery, or a locked phone — sometimes without warning. Please continue to supervise your child directly.

Requires two devices on the same Wi‑Fi network.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-29

A fresh look for Baby Talkie:

• All-new app icon and a beautiful new welcome screen
• A short tour of what Baby Talkie can do when you first open the app
• Video controls, redesigned — flash and night mode now sit neatly on top of the live video, so the picture stays full size
• Apple Watch: use your watch as an audio-only Baby Unit while the watch app is open — after you approve it on the parent iPhone
• Easier pairing — fresh QR codes, clearer messages when a scan doesn't work, and a simple way to pair a new parent device
• Fixed: the mute button now truly mutes
• Refined Arabic throughout the app
