Now at 37 weeks pregnant I am redoing my entire registry on Amazon where I should’ve just done it to begin with. ### 5/5 — Best baby registry!! *2026-08-08, version 1.36.427* Have used it for all my baby showers, very helpful and resourceful. ### 3/5 — My feelings are hurt. *2026-08-01, version 1.36.426* I delivered my baby at 26 weeks and there no option to report that my child came early. Changed the birthday to her birthday and it says things like “the first week at home..blah blah blah” well my baby isn’t at home she’s in the hospital and I don’t get to be with her 24/7 like I should. I know this is niche but it feels horrible to open this app and see things commenting about being at home with a new born when I’m not. Not sure what the solution is for this but lots of moms are in this position so adding some sort of setting for premies would make a big difference for me and other nicu parents. Tons of options and other stores to choose from. A few things I returned I either A. got to keep the item or B. they accepted all the items back and made the return process SO EASY. Some stuff that’s only on babylist i was surprised how many options i have, the links are made extremely easy and sharing my link and even having free cards sent made my baby sprinkle way easier than what i did for my first born! Definitely worth downloading or just using the website on the computer. But room for improvement! *2026-07-21, version 1.36.425* Love using Babylist! Love how easy it is to add anything from any store to your registry! But def some room for improvement! Wish it would sync better. Often times it shows things as “out of stock” when they aren’t or “in stock” when they are not. Prices don’t seem to update either and need to be done manually. Love the bundles it features at the top but wish we could make our own to feature. Also if something has already been purchased, the link no longer works and for those of us wanting to add items from a past registry for baby #2 we have to track down the link again when it could be right there. Also wish the banner at the top could be customized where we upload our own image. Also wish it was more clear for first-time users or would send our reminder emails if people viewed an item that they need to remember to mark as purchased if they DID purchase. I got so many duplicate items at my shower because people assumed once they added to cart or bought it, Babylist would mark it as purchased but it has to be done manually by the user and seems half the people got confused and forgot to mark as purchased. Overall, excellent app and site and I feel it could only be better with a few adjustments! It gives you different stores the item is available in, as well as a way to mark it off once it’s purchased. We didn’t have this long ago we just bought what we thought an expectant mom would need. I’m glad this exists so the expectant mom can tell you what she needs. I am also so glad you can choose budget friendly options for people that want to buy something, but can’t afford to spend too much. ### 5/5 — Amazing! It was simple for me to add things both on Babylist and other stores, but it was hard for purchasers to navigate. If you have a lot of people over 50 trying to use this app- avoid it. You’ll be overwhelmed with texts on how to use it. Also- the shipment timing is SLOW AS $H!T. They regularly take a week after purchasing to ship something and they charge you return fees. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Awful customer service *2026-08-31, version 1.36.430* The app is good for the list and tracking the order, but awful for ordering breast pump and replacement parts. They get paid by insurance, but when you try to order replacement parts they can’t find the payment for weeks. And it keeps happening for as long as you use that for the purpose. Customer service keeps telling I’ll get an email about ordering new parts, but it never happens. The customers service people reply with random stuff - I emailed them about the updates on my order, they responded with what the app can be used for? Completely unrelated. I haven’t seen such bad customer service for a really long time. ### 1/5 — Shady business practice *2026-07-11, version 1.36.424* Shady business, beware and check your products received. They’ve remedied a lot of my missing orders in the past, our ups driver refuses to walk packages up to the third floor and leave them in the mail room And we have someone who opens all the packages and takes what they want unfortunately. Someone purchased the rava next from my registry in Feb 2026 the rava next was released in Jan 2026. The first problem was the incorrect address Babylist printed even though my correct address was listed on registry, so the item was lost in transit. When it showed up months later it was the old version of the rava. Although the older version rava was never advertised to me, nor on my Registry on babylist they lied and said the gift giver selected the rava and not the rava next. They also charged the gift giver for the rava next even tho the rava was now cheaper bc its an older version. To me It’s obvious they sent the older version to get rid of the older product they’d have sitting in backstock since the new one was just released. While the gift giver was refunded after a week they now want the car seat back after it finally arrived and I said it was the wrong product to begin with, and I’m out of a car seat for my baby right now, who’s grown out of his infant car seat ### 1/5 — Worst Baby Registry Ever *2026-06-30, version 1.36.421* FTM and decided to use this to help me with creating my registry. 1. There’s not much selection. 2. If you return items it becomes store credit. 3. You have the chance of never receiving your items at all. 4. Most never come on time for those that don’t want to spend the extra money on expediting there items. Been waiting for almost 2 months and half for a diaper genie, and still have heard no updates on my item since. Overall would definitely have gone with something else, if anyone is deciding to use Babylist for their registry. ### 1/5 — This is scam. You get to pay extra for what ? A full minute to save a change to a profile. I’m in my home and on my own Wi-Fi so this should not be happening. And sometimes you have to hit save twice. She sent me an invite and for me it is a terrible app. I’m stuck in a vicious cycle of trying to login. I go to log in with my email and it boots me back to the login page. I go to log in with a phone number, never sends a code. I go to create an account. It says it’s already created. I’ve tried about 20 times now. I’d rather just make a paper list and buy everything myself then have to deal with the infinite login cycle of this poorly designed app. ### 1/5 — Gift card *2026-05-17, version 1.36.415* So the app itself is awesome but the area where someone can purchase a gift card for you has got to be the most frustrating thing ever we had a family member give us a gift card via the app with a very substantial amount of money on it but you can only use the gift card to purchase things that Babylist carry’s then you go to Babylist and everything is out of stock or it’s double the price for what you can get from somewhere else. Had planned to use the gift card to knock off some more pricy items but no such luck when you are so limited ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2026-04-15, version 1.36.411* Babylist is honestly one of the most frustrating platforms I’ve used. The idea is great, but the execution is terrible. Gift cards are basically useless unless you want to overpay for everything in their store, which completely defeats the purpose of having a flexible registry. The site is confusing, not user-friendly, and makes simple things like searching or reviewing items way harder than they should be. It feels like everything is designed to push you into their overpriced marketplace. They also provide several buying options for each item I have saved allowing people to choose the best price possible which is awesome! They provided me with a free welcome box, a bunch of free business cards with my registry link and qr code on them, and they even have convenient things like the option to order a free breast pump through them paid by your insurance! Registries used to be intimidating, but Babylist makes it so simple. I even was lucky enough to have a member of their team purchase two VERY nice items off of my registry for me as part of their campaign they currently have going on in partnership with Alex Cooper. This is a beyond selfless company that I would recommend 1000x over. I loved that it gives you the option to add items from different stores instead of limiting you to just one, and it makes the registry very easy for friends and family to access and purchase gifts. The only thing I would improve is the clarity around shipping address confirmation. A few of my orders were delayed because the purchaser received an email asking them to confirm the shipping address, and many people didn’t notice the email right away. This caused some unnecessary delays.
