### 3/5 — I Won’t Use it Again…

*2023-03-25*

So, getting my account setup was easy enough. Setting an appointment was easy enough. The Canadian doctor who helped me was quite pleasant, and offered good suggestions. The deal-breaker for me is that the medication which was prescribed by the doctor, still has not arrived at my pharmacy; (it has been a month, and I don’t even really need it anymore.) I am concerned because I do not know if the problem is the prescription itself, the brand, availability, my pharmacy… or some other issue! I have never had a prescription problem from my in-person doctor visits. So, I am left without answers. Ultimately, I feel that my $45 co-pay, was not worth the service. I am really glad my insurance covered the major portion, but I do not feel like it was worth the effort.

### 2/5 — Behind the times

*2023-01-24, version 73.0.0*

Where as most traditional and modern Telehealth and/or virtual health systems you can do everything through and app or web portal, Babylon still forces you to make phone calls for seemingly everything. Even a decade ago when living, in Alabama of all places, the healthcare in and out of network things from booking appointments and sharing vital electronic documents could all be done online, with Babylon if you simply need to make an appointment sometimes you need to call… in 2023. Giving two stars, one because I like my doctor and the other because you can’t give zero.

### 4/5 — Game Changer

*2022-12-16, version 71.0.0*

This app cuts the need to book an appointment to figure out what is wrong. Doctors are able to provide you with general information to guide you on where you should go or who you should be regarding your health. Having doctors available like this are a major benefit considering my primary care isn’t a good one to get a hold of. I hope to see this app develop more throughout the years

### 5/5 — Wonderful app

*2022-11-08, version 64.0.0*

This app is great super convenient. Especially in my case I’m a mom of 5 so super excited that I can have health needs answer with just a few clicks away. Especially in my experience with Trevan Sedlak it was wonderful I felt like I did not have a screen in front of us she was so genuine and super nice heard me out answer my question I will definitely use the app again and schedule with her.

### 5/5 — First day of the rest of my life

*2022-11-01, version 64.0.0*

As someone who doesn't drive, making and keeping appointments was near impossible. This app has helped me kickstart my journey of taking care of myself both mentally and physically. My reasons name is Ella, this app is a tool to help me be the best me for her. Thank you, to all of the medical professionals who are apart of this space. I am forever grateful.

### 5/5 — Very Happy patient

*2022-10-27, version 64.0.0*

I’ve never been the type of person to go to an office to have a session. I don’t even like leaving my home unless absolutely necessary, so Babylon is a blessing to me. I love my doctor Cindy Millin. She is amazing!!!! She speaks to me with caring, and true concern. She makes me feel comfortable and best of all …makes me laugh. I feel less ‘alone’ when our session is over. I could go on and on but to summarize SHES AWESOME!!!!!! Thanks Babylon for changing my life, I feel there’s hope for having a happy one.

### 5/5 — Babylon is my favorite Doctor’s office ever!

*2022-09-12, version 57.0.0*

I have always hated going to the doctor. I have moved a lot throughout my life and changed careers which meant I was also always changing healthcare and doctors.

Finally being able to see the same Nurse practitioner has made me relax and able to take care of myself so much better. I used to wait forever to take care of a cough, or my asthma, etc. Now if I need a blood test or I’m sick, I will make an appointment with Christy and she’s almost always available the same day within a few hours.

By the way, my other NP Nila (found out that I had a thyroid problem) with a blood test. That changed my world. No one every helped me like that before!

With all the craziness in our lives it’s so nice that I can rely on Babylon to take care of my health and see the same NP each time (I love all the other NP’s too!). Everyone at Babylon is A++++

### 5/5 — So grateful

*2022-07-14, version 49.0.0*

Very grateful for this app! I have medi-cal and of you know anything about that seeing a doctor in real life is a super nightmare is there something worse than a nightmare? No Appointments for 3-5 months, crowded, gross, dirty…Anyway I’ve used it three times for basic infections received the proper medication at the pharmacy and it works out perfectly for me. I’m rarely sick so for little things this app and their services have been life altering for me. Recently my general practitioner started to hold my medications hostage because I don’t come In enough? Very greedy they like to bilk the insurance because you can’t get appointments for 3-5 months at a time so they blame the patient for them taking on too many people with their greed. So anyway, I popped on Babylon and they helped me out. I only wish I could use babylon for everything and then just go to an affiliated clinic to get my physicals and what not. Anyway can’t say enough on how I appreciate this app and the services.

### 5/5 — Intake

*2022-06-03, version 45.0.0*

Intake was excellent, but lacking next step appointments. Had to call back a few times to get regular appointments after intake, then problem booking once availability found only bimonthly. First appointment available was 6-15,but system would only allow 6-29 to be booked. The rep said she would check with the manager to see if initial date was indeed available, why unable to book in system.

### 2/5 — Not user friendly at all

*2022-06-02, version 44.0.0*

The app doesn’t recognize my member ID. So I clicked the Call Support button and instead of getting someone at Babylon, it sent me to HealthNet. Then they told me they couldn’t help me. It’s tedious that it doesn’t allow me to make my own appts through the app for mental health appts. What’s the point of the app then? That’s the one convenience I need. Also, my physician will send me an invite to book a f/u appt and when I go to book it, it says No appointments available. Lastly, the connection to my pharmacy isn’t always successful. I have to get them to call the generic number since we cannot reach the doctors directly. The pharmacy does not like to call generic numbers. There is much to be desired with this whole system.

### 5/5 — Super fast service

*2022-05-31, version 42.0.0*

I’m fairly new to Babylon but my child has been a member for a while and I like that I was able to use my Healthnet Medi-Cal to see a doctor and it’s fully covered. I’ve had great experiences with each doctor, some even better than others. My child and I have never had an appt time greater than 30 mins from the time I requested one. Where I live you can’t even get to a hospital or urgent care in 30 mins much less be seen. They are very reliable in getting my meds to the pharmacy and scheduling tests. Knowing I won’t be able to get an appt with my own family doctor for at least a week, sometimes two weeks, it’s important to have a doctor available when I can’t leave my house.

### 4/5 — Convenience at its finest

*2022-05-25, version 42.0.0*

I love having this app in my life!! It has been a huge help for not only figuring out what could be going on with my body but it goes a step further and tells me if and when and what kind of treatment or facility I should go to- doctors office Er or walk up clinic ! The only down fall is not with the doctors or appointment process but with the symptom checker bot it uses. It seems to not have enough info to give an educated guess even and a lot of the conditions were unavailable at that time. Over all though, great app!!!!

### 2/5 — Concerned

*2022-05-16, version 42.0.0*

I was told that o could get a prescription refilled by the medical division regardless of what it is for. When I was called, the medical professional informed me that I was being treated as a new patient because I really belong with the behavioral health division. All she could do was start a new prescription and I had to give her all the information. She claimed to have no access to the behavioral division. As a patient this is alarming. I should not be providing anyone with the information for my prescription. It should be a available for there view and I should simply be confirming the information for the refill. It’s dangerous if a patient can simply call, speak to a medical professional who has no access to my chart and they will just prescribe whatever I ask for. How does that protect the patient? Please insure that all staff is properly trained. Especially those that deal directly with patients.

### 5/5 — 2600joe

*2022-05-12, version 42.0.0*

You guys are the best thing that has came into my life !!! I have been waiting for 2 1/2 years to see a doctor to get my medication again for my diabetes. Two doctors have flaked and cancelled on my appointments to see them . Recently one of the DR's decided to retire a week before my appointment was coming up . So they called me to schedule another appointment 4 months from now . My girlfriend told me to try Babylon.... and now just a few hours later I joined , saw a doctor that same day. The following day i went to get blood work & other tests done. A week later I had my second video visit with my doctor and I just hung up and I will be going to pick up my medicine in a few hours ! my doctor rocks and so does Babylon . Thank you !!!
You guys are my guardian angels ! i will spread the word to people I know about you guys . And thanks to you guys I will be able to stick around longer for my daughter. That's the most important and only thing that matters to me in this world.

### 5/5 — So far so good!

*2022-05-01, version 36.0.0*

I wasn’t expecting this app to be as great as it’s been. My usual doctor seems to take forever to get anything done and the two times I’ve had to use this app it’s showed me how wonderful and fast getting medical help can be. Sometimes scheduling is what causes me to miss out on medical appointments and the ability to just quickly find an available time slot and talk to someone is really a game changer. I’ve also had to call the support line a few times and they’ve been really fast and helpful. The only thing the app seems to be missing is messaging doctors and follow ups are a bit clunky as the app doesn’t really follow up with you to make sure you got well. I had to call support to schedule a two week follow up because the doctor wouldn’t show up even though he had availability.

### 5/5 — General medical issue -Skin

*2022-04-25, version 38.0.0*

Doctor was able to evaluate my skin from the online face to face appointment. Offered a solution and recommended a prescription. Also was kind and suggested to go to a dermatologist if I wanted if symptoms didn’t get better. For the more serious is I had with a found lump, he told me to go see a doctor in person because there is no way to know what it could be since it’s under the skin.
All together he was polite, kind and helpful.
Thank you

### 5/5 — Brooke Ramey

*2022-04-13, version 36.0.0*

This is highly recommended. No more sitting in waiting rooms with other sick people waiting your turn and Brooke listened and took the information in and knew the steps to take to find out what was going on with me. Thanks Brooke.I again can not say enough about the people who work here, I have been listened to more by these professionals than any ever and finally am being taken care of in the manner I should have been long ago. .!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Scheduling is terrible

*2023-07-07*

On June 27 I had a video appointment with the general practitioner. After we were done discussing my plan of care, she sent me an invite to see her in 2 weeks for follow up as I have been prescribed a new medication. Upon trying to schedule that appointment I was unsuccessful because of no availability. I called to see what else I could do. The lady I got in contact with said that the soonest availability was in November. She said she was going to message the doctor and get back with me. I never got a call or message back from the person who was helping me. I feel like I’ve had a problem with this app on scheduling since I got it. As most of my appointments have been canceled after I sat here waiting for a half an hour or more to find out the appointment was cancelled. I feel it’s been more of a problem than helping. I don’t have anything to say against the doctors or therapist but the scheduling is terrible and you need more professionals to help with the workload. It’s not fair to them or us that this company is dumping such a large work load on there workers. My Therapist alone has a caseload from at least 5 different states. That’s outrageous!!! You need a better scheduling department and more workers or less workload. There’s no way to effectively manage the work you are putting on these good people.

### 1/5 — There are no appointments available!!!

*2022-09-23, version 61.0.0*

On top of. EVER being able to schedule an intake for my daughter for therapy bfvagsd they don’t have many appointments for NY and simply could not help me a few months ago when we were in crisis.

Today I had the pleasure of having one of their physicians blatantly lie to me, saying that she was trying to get in touch with me for 10 minutes when I was sitting by the phone. my phone has been working properly and it sure she called 10 minutes late. Then she proceeded to tell me that she would have to rush because she was trying to get in touch with me all this time. Blatant lie. I screenshot it and sent your teams the first time she called att to 4:55pm.

And then she couldn’t get through the app to FaceTime me and I’ve had three other appointments through Babylon that worked perfectly. So I said “what do I do now with my ailment, I’m in a wedding tomorrow?” and she said “I’m sure there are other physicians that can handle you. It’s a 24 hour service.”

I’m reporting this to my insurance as well.

Just so tired of the lack of customer, service, kindness, respect, humanity that is completely lost through and through, now adding this app to the list!

### 1/5 — Dangerous Rip Off

*2022-04-12, version 37.0.0*

This organization is a dangerous rip off. I sought counseling through this app. They interviewed me, then told me there were no counselors or appointments available, then tried to bill my health insurance over $500, and my health insurance paid over $100. I have reported them to my health insurance. Don’t waste your time and money on this. It’s a scam, and the rest of the ratings are probably inside jobs to keep up the illusion. Don’t be fooled. If you need help, seek out a real doctor in your neighborhood. Good luck. Our health care system is broken, and these guys are making money off of one of our nation’s biggest problems. They are part of the reason health insurance costs are out of control, and people in this country are suffering from such a lack of basic health services. They should be ashamed. Don’t perpetuate the problem by using them. Get help from a real doctor that you can talk with in person, and seek advice from friends and family you know in person.

### 1/5 — This is for a provider. Not sure about platform yet.

*2022-04-02, version 36.0.0*

Dr. Jane Himmelvo lacked assessment skills. Granted my symptom is a liability issue, since it’s “chest tightness.” She was of course, as expected with most providers, will defer you to ER. Didn’t even bother to ask questions outside of mental health since I complained of anxiety, she hung on to that. I know how to manage my mental health & if that’s the primary issue, I wouldn’t make an appt under general medicine, duh. I told her that I have a specialist I work with as far as anxiety so I have that area covered. I would’ve appreciated it if she asked questions like, does your chest hurt before you eat, inhalation/exhale, what meds are you taking that could interact, etc. NOTHING.

Mentioned I did not want to go to ER & wait for a million years so I’d like to get screened with telemedicine first & if unresolved I’ll go to urgent care then ER. However, she failed to assess me & explore to gather subjective data. She stated for me to make an appt for stress test, echocardio blah blah. Well that’s a long term goal. I reached out to possibly treat the symptoms or at least get closer to finding out why. I swear some of these doctors are so predictable & only think about legality vs. individualizing people’s care. I had the 💯 gut feeling that as soon as she started making captain obvious statements that she’ll default to ER. It’ll be a tougher audience if your patient is a nurse. Not everyone is BASIC.

### 1/5 — App is sad at best

*2022-03-31, version 36.0.0*

Support is wonderful when you can get someone on the phone however the app is just useless. First there is an issue with fidelis insurance patients which prompts a necessary call to rectify. Support attempted to assist with booking an appointment however DocuSign has clearly not been able to keep up with the demands of virtual document signing and after several attempts was not able to sign necessary paperwork to move forward with an appointment. Waiting 24-48 hours for Babylon app to update insurance correctly only to scroll through months and find zero appointments available for mental health counseling. Unsure if this is another “glitch” however it’s not exactly encouraging to find so many barriers negating several calls to support right from the start. Wish it could have worked out!

### 1/5 — Fake health app

*2022-02-24, version 30.0.0*

Your app is pointless and useless because it’s not helping people get proper care and most of your employees are not licensed practitioners, they are just liars and people you’re hiring off the street. I wouldn’t trust a single thing about this company. I used to try to use this app but every time I did I will get frustrated because everything will keep disappearing when I need help but never got any as well as my page would disappear and I would need to restart many times. I recommend people go in person cause this app is not helpful at all.

### 1/5 — Really awful

*2022-02-17, version 29.0.0*

Every time there is an update something breaks for weeks. Sometimes support says they will call you back then never does. Sometimes providers literally can’t see or hear you and there is no way to leave the call and come back. Sometimes providers or Babylon just cancel appointments at the last minute then tell you they can’t fit you in for weeks. Their telemedicine appts are a joke. The docs and nurses are so uninterested and trying to speed thru the whole process that you’d get more comprehensive help from WebMD so just go there. It’s not the providers fault really, I blame Babylon entirely. They clearly have put less than the bare minimum into their app development, launched it too early and haven’t hired enough people. Their staff size is abysmal which is why you get such terrible care when you use them.

### 1/5 — Don’t recommend

*2021-12-28, version 21.0.0*

I had to do a BH intake call prior to getting an actual appointment that took about 30 min. That was fine but the lady told me I should be hearing from someone in 2 weeks which didn’t happen. Then I called and they gave me a call back the next day to schedule an appointment. The first therapist cancelled the day before my appointment which was very frustrating. Then I called and scheduled another appointment with a new therapist and she didn’t show up for my appointment. I do not recommend. People’s mental health is so important and when therapists can’t show up when people need them the most is the most unsafe feeling. How can you trust a therapist when you can count on them????? Doesn’t make sense to me 🤔

### 1/5 — Not all providers are medical doctors and I lost trust in Babylon

*2021-12-26, version 22.0.0*

I like the idea of telehealth and have used other services over the years. The problem I have with Babylon is the line up of „practitioners“. Few are actual doctors. Many are just nurse practitioners. It is not easy to distinguish between those in the app. Not everyone has a biography, some are just a name without any description. It is unclear what the credentials are. From all the telehealth services I tried, Babylon has the worst line up. Some of the doctors seem to be trying to push their own agenda. I tried Babylon a few times but entirely lost trust into this service because of the type of practitioners it connects me with. I wish my provider would go back to teladoc. Babylon should make very, very clear who the practitioners are, what their credentials are, whether they are medical doctors or not.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2020-06-05, version 2.9.0*

Had an appointment to talk to a therapist. She tried calling me through the app rather than a normal voice call and when I tried to answer there was no audio or sound and it froze. She then cancelled my appointment. I had no option to call her back or message her to let her know I was here and ready to talk. My only option was to book another appointment because she cancelled mine and the next available one was a month from now. You have to be kidding me. Why do you have the providers call through an app that doesn’t work just so you cancel on people that need help? This app is useless

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Always positive sessions

*2023-06-24*

Therapy sessions with Baylon were always positive, and a safe place to open up and reflect on things. Each session was an opportunity to convey my thoughts and process my emotions about current situation that I found difficult to navigate. Overall, it felt very productive to have a therapist that is able to understand my perspective without feeling judged. My therapist was really good job at listening and building a good rapport. Because of this, I had a good experience with therapy and it only encourages me to revisit therapy in the near future if needed. However, with that being said my only negative comment is that Babylon’s policy only allows patients to have 12 sessions for treatment. I don’t think 12 sessions is enough, it should be done on a case by case situation. Where patients have the opportunity to choose if they want to continue therapy, if so having a protocol where they need to go through a renewal process, which does not disrupt their current treatment with their therapist. Or something like having a mid/ end year evaluation where the therapist consults with the patient about how they benefited from therapy and if they need to reduce the frequency of sessions or maximize them based on case by case situation. It was really disappointing to have to end therapy so abruptly due to this new policy change.

### 5/5 — So grateful

*2023-04-21*

Very grateful for this app! I have medi-cal and of you know anything about that seeing a doctor in real life is a super nightmare is there something worse than a nightmare? ### 5/5 — Wish I knew about it sooner

*2023-04-14*

I’m sure there are little things about the app that could be better but I don’t think any of it makes the app not worth it. Sometimes you get a good doctor sometimes not. Make sure to read bios don’t over think them not having a pic up the nicer ones don’t have pics up. But I always check bios. But I have 2 special needs young children getting to a doctor for small stuff for me is almost impossible and my younger son is scared of the doctor. This app helps me deal with the small stuff. I love it

### 5/5 — I’m sick, but really happy

*2023-02-01, version 73.0.0*

I just switched over to a new healthcare plan with Health Net and was really happy to see that they offer the Babylon Healthcare Services. I am sick with cough, sore throat, etc and was able to have a video visit with a great Nurse Practitioner, Amy Bessert. I quickly shared a separate concern and she was able to point me in the right direction for in person follow up care. Very much appreciate her genuine interest and confidence in the feedback she provided. Excited to use this app and use it beyond the video doctor visits. You can connect outside party apps like the Apple watch and keep track of health goals and information. I’m still sick at the moment, but very happy.

### 5/5 — Great guy!!

*2023-01-12, version 73.0.0*

He immediately recognized my condition to be something else which I originally thought it was. I had a 515 appointment but he called me three hours early to see if I was available, and I was which made me very happy. He was very knowledgeable and informative about my condition and showed he was very caring and wanted to help. He also told me what to do and not to do diet wise, physically, and recreationally that would flare up my condition

### 5/5 — Patient Use

*2022-12-08, version 71.0.0*

Babylon has been a blessing to use, especially through the COVID-19 pandemic, especially since it’s almost impossible to get an appointment at a doctors office. The providers through Babylon have been superior if not better than an in person doctor visit. The video chat is just like being in the doctors office, except they can’t touch the patient, however the providers can still order X-rays, lab works and prescriptions when needed. Thanks Babylon and my Babylon providers that have seen me as a patient. 💕

### 5/5 — Very convenient

*2022-11-25, version 69.0.0*

It was so great to be able to get care on the same day and from home. I had COVID and had absolutely no energy to go to urgent care, which was the only option through my health system (also not the best option for infection control). Thank you for being available to see me on Thanksgiving!

### 5/5 — On the mend!

*2022-11-19, version 67.0.0*

Babylon made it super convenient to have a doctors appointment from the comfort of our home. Had our first 3 virtual appointments (3 of us had been sick with a cold for weeks) with Dr. Lea Gattoni and she was AMAZING! She really took the time and listened to our symptoms to find the right path to getting better. She made us feel comfortable in understanding why each of our symptoms correlated to our diagnoses. Thanks Babylon for allowing this convenience!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2022-11-15, version 67.0.0*

This is an excellent system. You can see a doctor in minutes. I consulted doctor Branden Raleigh a couple of times and he was great. He solved my concerns and he could even prescribe medication. I can’t think of a better system, mostly during Covid times. Sometimes you need to”see” a doctor right away and the video call is really a doctor’s visit of modern times.

### 5/5 — I looove this application

*2022-11-10, version 64.0.0*

Today was the second time I used this application and I truly believe it can save your life especially for someone like me that would rather stay sick without knowing the facts of what is going on internally just because I dread sitting in a waiting room surrounded by other people that could give me something worst than what I could have. And the comfortable feeling that I am left with after being educated on my health. The first time I used this application the doctor I was seen by had such a great sense of humor and being a male patient I was so comfortable discussing prostate issues. I learned from her that the prostate is part of the front and not the rear but because one of the ways to have it checked is through the rear, I thought that a colonoscopy was how the prostate was checked. I was totally wrong and at my age, I haven’t had neither of the two procedures done and I am 60 years old. You’d think that my primary care physician would have told me this, right? This is how comfortable it feels speaking to a doctor on this app. It can save your life. I tell all my friends about. I just hope my prostate and colon are healthy because that’s my next goal. Having those things checked. Whoever came up with the idea for this app is a genius. Well done!!
