I communicated to someone via email for support and the person or robot was very abrupt and not helpful at all. Definitely thinking of moving to a better app ### 3/5 — Recurring Event feature not working properly *2024-12-14, version 2.1.69* iPhone 11, iOS 18.1.1 Potential bug: When adding a recurring event as a parent it doesn’t seem to be adding the subsequent dates after the initial date, but lists them all under that date. ### 3/5 — Blurry photos *2022-12-01, version 2.0.18* The app is good but it’s a shame the photos come out blurry. My Childminder has to send photos separately because of this. ### 2/5 — Please fix! *2022-09-01, version 2.0.14* Please fix the function to view or download documents. Since the new updates, I have been unable to view anything the nursery has updated as it doesn’t do anything when you press either download or view. ### 2/5 — Not great for parents and now missing key functionality *2022-08-24* This app is pretty poorly designed for parents. You can easily get lost in the menus trying to find things. With the latest update, an important piece of functionality is completely broken. You can no longer view or download Documents. There is a button to press to View or Download but it does nothing. Nurseries often use the Documents section to communicate important info to parents so it is very poor that this functionality has been broken. ### 4/5 — Very good but not without its frustrations *2022-08-03, version 2.0.7* Our childminder uses this for both of our children. It is very good apart from one really annoying feature, you can’t swipe between photos in the media section, instead three presses are required to move between each photo. Some UI/UX work would be good. ### 2/5 — Confusing, and updates have broken some features *2022-07-29* The latest update means documents cannot be viewed or downloaded via the app! Useless and causing us issues accessing important nursery info. The journey is also over engineered with too many areas (diary, live feed, children….just consolidate it!!!!) Frustrating to use and annoying to have critical info from nursery come via the app at present. Ok for food and image diaries on a daily basis…so fine for nice to haves but a real pain for important stuff :( ### 2/5 — Usually great! *2022-07-19, version 2.0.1* I have this app for my girl at nursery usually great but since an update it keeps crashing!! Please help?? ### 1/5 — New update rubbish. *2022-07-19, version 2.0.1* Crashes whenever I try to open a photo so can’t use until developer fixes the bug! ### 4/5 — Great for keeping statutory paperwork in one place *2021-08-12* Just noticed the new checkpoint feature on the app, great to see functions gearing up towards the changes in September. I still have issues with parent notifications but generally a good resource for the statutory paperwork and accounts. I was hoping the update would enable me to log my assistants daily register on the app but no I still have to do this on the website everyday. Losing the email notification system has had a big impact to my service. Every week I have to email parents to remind them to do things such as sign the register. The live feed is useless if parents don’t look at it! I posted a newsletter and literally not one parent looked at it for a week until I told them it was in there!!! I have parents especially of older children who only use the website and not the app perhaps this could be considered with optional email notifications in the future. ### 3/5 — Ok for settings, terrible for parents *2021-04-09, version 1.9.53* Love the app I use it my self for work. How ever now my daughter is at pre school and I have to log in as a parent, it’s such hard work, every parent iv spoken to finds it’s so difficult to log in, you can just type in baby days and log in, you have to go off links why can you not just log in as normal sites ### 1/5 — Absolutely awful for parents *2021-01-02, version 1.9.50* As others have said, this probably works very well if you’re a childminder, but as a parent viewing the content, it’s terrible. An example of one of the frustrating issues: you get a notification in the app, something like ‘A new document has been submitted for review’. Great. But no way of getting from that notification to the document. Why?! You have to try, usually unsuccessfully, to navigate the horribly laid out menus to trawl through content looking for what you just got notified about. But it’s not just documents, it’s everything. Other aspects of the user interface seem designed and implemented by people that can’t possibly use the app or ask for any user feedback. Things that should be clickable are not. Things that don’t look clickable are. In all, frustrating, and incredibly painful to use. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Horrible … *2026-05-22, version 2.2.71* I did not realise subscription was for at least 6 months … wow ! They did only reply with an automatic reply…. Do not purchase the subscription! Run away ### 1/5 — Stuck with this program now *2026-04-26, version 2.2.62* Finding this program to not be user friendly at all. Not easy for providers and not easy for parents. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-04-12* When signing up to Baby’s Days, it was not made clear at all that I was entering into a 6-month contract. I genuinely believed I was signing up for a trial, so finding out I was locked in was a complete shock and felt very misleading. When I contacted them to cancel, the response I received was rude, dismissive and completely unhelpful. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, I was made to feel like I was the problem. I am now stuck paying for something I no longer want or need for the next 6 months. Trying to ask questions or get support has been just as frustrating. They do not listen, and any communication feels one-sided and unprofessional. For a service that childminders rely on daily, the level of customer service is honestly shocking. After looking into other reviews, it’s clear I am not the only one who has had this experience. Many others have mentioned poor customer service, feeling trapped in contracts, and not being given clear information before signing up. It seems to be a recurring issue rather than a one-off situation. The system itself may have potential, but the way customers are treated completely lets it down. I would not recommend Baby’s Days based on my experience. ### 1/5 — Notifications spam *2026-01-27, version 2.2.50* Whilst the app serves a purpose it lacks functionality. Has no settings to adjust notification settings and sends alerts for any slight thing the nursery does. If a staff member hasn’t done their work and has decided to sit at 22:30 updating stuff your phone will receive constant notifications. I only want to be notified about anything whilst my child is at nursery not everything every staff member does. ### 1/5 — Customer service is awful *2025-09-02, version 2.2.23* I just came here to say how awful their customer service is, and I saw a similar message from seven years ago. Clearly, there have been no improvements on that front. ### 1/5 — Update won’t download *2025-05-29, version 2.2.4* I can’t use the app at all. The update download has frozen. ### 1/5 — Can’t save photos is you are lucky enough to find them! *2024-01-18, version 2.1.37* So many nice photos and information has been added about my daughter but I have to search by date to find it and there is no option to save or download the pictures or the files the nursery are trying to send. In theory it’s a great app but in practice it falls shot being hard to use even for an experienced user. Not really fit for purpose. Which is to update parents. ### 1/5 — Many bugs & worst customer service *2023-05-31* I’ve been with this app for 2.5 years and I used to work in digital marketing so I know enough to be able to say there are MANY bugs in the system and often I am unable to log in. Customer service is TERRIBLE. There is no phone number to ring if you need help. Support is poor. Parents are unable to view invoices and are reporting that things aren’t working as they should on the app. I even lost an entire parent questionnaire after it was signed! I have been unable to save changes when I add new invoices. I keep getting error messages when I try to log in! Worst of all - Baby’s Days closed my account after my credit card payment failed (they said they texted me a few days ahead but they lied as I had NO warning - just an email on the day announcing it’s being shut down. Then my manual payment kept failing due to another bug in their system and they blamed me… the list of awful things I’m experiencing with this company is endless. ### 1/5 — Avoid *2023-05-05* At the start of me finding out about this app as a childminder just about to open the doors, I’d told everyone I was excited to use it and how good it looked, unfortunately after trying it I couldn’t get on with it as I was unable to navigate key features i needed so contacted them saying I didn’t wish to continue, to be responded to so rudely the customer service was horrendous, I was spoken down to as if I was stupid, they told me not to contact them any more. So when they attempted to take money out of my businesses account I got in touch with my bank who then prohibited transactions from babysdays. I’ve now received more threatening emails from them and they have also resorted to name calling. So if you want a supportive company to support your small business, my honest opinion is I’d avoid this one. ### 1/5 — Latest update is terrible *2022-08-09, version 2.0.8* Really counter-intuitive recent update! It takes the stress away from organisational procedures. Worth every penny. Can we have a watch app too? ### 5/5 — I love it!! *2025-09-18* I’ve been using the Babysdays system since 2012 and it’s honestly saved me SO much time - I just love it! I log nappies, milk drunk, food eaten etc as I go on the app. I upload photos at the end of each day too. Parents love it too which in turn makes them think I’m the bee’s knees 🤣 The Funding side of things is so so easy too. Once set up, press the button each month and, as if by magic, invoices are done! ### 5/5 — Great app and product *2023-03-27, version 2.1.4* Been using this for the past 5 years across 3 lil ones at the same set up. The feedback from parents has been mind blowing. My staff are amazed by it and I feel it has made our working relationships with staff and parents stronger! I am literally 2 months into it and I know I have a lot more to learn. On that note when you are waking up at 4.30am and logging on, to get ahead, you realise how excited by it you are. It saves so much time in the day, week, month and certainly for completing the end of year tax return. Did take a bit of time to understand it but well worth doing so. By being able to use the app when out and about, not that we are out and about because of Covid, it does mean that we don’t have to wait until the end of the day to upload photos etc. we have trained the parents to log in, to send us photos and to make comments. The calendar is so useful as at least the parents have not got any reason to forget that we are closed for Christmas or any other day.
