### 4/5 — Love it

*2022-02-18*

Absolutely love this app. I switched from medela, which was constantly having problems, and haven’t looked back. Would absolutely love an Apple Watch app since using a watch is easier than phone when I’m feeding bub.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2021-09-26*

Love it! It is honestly the most helpful app I have come across.

Just need to be about to set reminders in feeding and Changing times and it will be a 5 star app!!

### 4/5 — Simple, no frills, does the job

*2020-10-21*

Second time around using this app to track my second baby. Simple and clean layout.
My only complaint is it can be a bit slow to load, and if you’ve got it open and add returning to the app from another app, it’ll take longer to load and the screen looks stretched out, and you’ve got to wait before using it.
Improvements would be -
Being able to remove breastmilk altogether from the bottle option.
Being able to add a note like medicine etc
Having a calendar you can click the date so you don’t need to scroll forever to find information from a particular day or month. Some extra graphics etc

### 4/5 — Best Baby App!

*2019-10-18*

I love the BabyTime app! It’s easy to use and so simple where a lot of these types of apps are over complicated with unnecessary features. I like that you can choose which timers to display. On that note, I wish there was an option for bath time, even just to say baby took a bath, not necessarily to time it. I can never seem to remember when the baby had a bath and it would be nice to have that here with the rest of her day! Seems like an easy addition!

### 4/5 — Intuitive

*2019-02-05*

This app is fantastic at tracking your baby’s nappy changes and feedings. Such an intuitive interface, it’s so easy to log things with a couple of clicks with one hand - important when you have a newborn!

I love that a can share instantly with my husband, especially if he puts baby down to sleep and starts a sleep timer and I stop the timer when he next gets up.

Things to improve or add would be:
1. The analysis tools. I don’t think it’s super obvious how the previous 24 hour/7 day/28 day period is calculated when making comparisons
2. I’d like to see a chart style comparison of naps and awake times, as well as nappies etc to better visualize patterns. I’d find this useful because my son can sleep through a nappy change (which you can’t visualize from the current list format). Also because my son is so young, tracking the awake periods is more interesting than the sleeps
3. Ability to add your own categories, for eg. medicines, bath time etc to see if these things influence sleep/awake patterns
4. I would be more inclined to use the timer for the bottle feed if it displayed in the list format like it does for breastfeeding. I find this encourages us to mark the time of the feed as the end of the feed rather than the beginning.

### 4/5 — Very useful

*2019-01-31*

This app has been invaluable. I am a first time mum and this has been especially useful with knowing which breast I last fed and tracking her sleep.
My only recommendation is to be able to add notes and also write in your own category i.e. I would like to track when and how much medicine was given each day

### 3/5 — Good but..

*2019-01-09, version 2.1*

App is good but I wish that there was a feature to input food aside from just bottles. Need to be able to track oatmeal and fruits but can’t

### 5/5 — Simple and clean and easy to use

*2018-12-24*

This app seems to be working exactly for our needs, track the main stats for our little one while making it super simple to add activities (very important when there is much more important things to concentrate on).
It also syncs seamlessly between our phones to be able to track with the closest phone at hand. Great job!

### 5/5 — Excellent app for new Mums

*2018-10-23*

This app has been invaluable to me as a first time Mum. I’ve used it continuously since my baby was born to track her sleep, feeds & nappies. It has been particularly useful for making sure I feed from different sides each time. The format of the app is perfect and it’s so easy to use. Really glad I found this app.

### 5/5 — So helpful!

*2018-10-04*

I love this app. It makes keeping track of everything so easy.

One suggestion:
- Show age in weeks and days instead of months and days for better accuracy. For example, the app says my baby is 1 month 7 days old today but she is actually 5 weeks and 3 days old — I think the “month” is defaulting to 28 days or something so it throws off the accuracy by several days

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review - so glad you're finding BabyTime helpful. Thanks for your suggestion too.

### 5/5 — Great tracked

*2018-10-02*

This is a great tracker! Super easy to use and gives us all the data we need so when all the nurses ask us about feeds and diapers I have an answer!

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review, so glad that you find BabyTime super easy to use!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Caregiver Connection Doesn’t Work

*2021-12-30*

My wife signed up and uses the app every day. She made me a “caregiver” to be able to access our baby’s data. The connection has never worked. The app on my phone doesn’t pull in any data. To make matters worse, I contacted their customer support and no one has contacted me back after an initial “we’re looking into it” email. That was over a month ago. Use the app only if one person is willing to track all the data.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t sync with care givers

*2021-09-07*

It doesn’t sync. It was the whole point for us to get this app

### 1/5 — Isn’t supported

*2021-08-01*

Purchased this as my partner had it and we wanted to link up our two accounts like the app stated we could. It doesn’t work and no response after contacting them.

### 1/5 — 4 stars... until iOS 14.2 update

*2020-11-21, version 2.1*

I have an 8 week old and rely heavily on BabyTime to track her sleeping and feedings, as she has struggled to gain weight. I use the app data to communicate with her pediatricians. I love its simplicity, and data review function. Would give 4 stars normally. (5 if data review had a graph function to compare two separate time frames.)

But as of today, the app will not load after updating my iPhone to iOS 14.2! Please help, or release an update!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t sync as directed

*2020-09-24*

Doesn’t sync for an additional user as instructed, so was useless in that respect.

The app works ok for a sole user, but don’t recommend this if you want someone to be able to make updates.

### 1/5 — App keeps freezing

*2017-09-26*

Love what this app offers, however it keeps freezing when I go to open it, then crashing. The only way to fix is to power off phone and restart. Not convenient when I'm opening the app many times a day to track feedings. Please fix!

Edit: it appears others have received an update from the developers fixing their freezing issues. I have not, so I've lowered my rating to 1 star. I'd be happy to review this again with the bugs fixed, but for now it's a waste of money when it crashes multiple times a day.

**Developer response:** I'm really sorry you're having this issue - this issue affects a few people and we've found they often have the widget installed on the today screen and that removing the widget fixes the problems. We're continuing to investigate the issue, but please try removing the widget. If that doesn't work, please get in touch with us at help@babytimeapp.com.

### 2/5 — Was great when it worked

*2020-08-09*

Loved this app when I had my first child. Very easy to use and offered exactly what I needed without all the complicated extras I found on other similar apps. Now with my second child the app is extremely buggy. Freezes and crashes constantly. Very frustrating and disappointing. I hope it gets fixed soon!

### 2/5 — Good app, crashes often, slow to load

*2020-07-24*

This app crashes a lot and takes 10 seconds to load everytime I try to use it. It can track breastfeeding, bottle feeds, pumping sessions, diapers and sleep. The only thing is that it crashes pretty often. I use it all day long then all of a sudden, it just won’t open. It often crashes while I’m using it in the background too. I’ll go to it to end a breastfeeding session, and it won’t open.

### 2/5 — Slow to open app

*2020-05-16*

After using for 3months the app completely shut down and I lost all my previous times and tracking. It didn’t even acknowledge that I had already had an account and made me re joint using the same email account. But works fine and does the job of recording feed and sleep times. Now after 4months of using the app takes a long time to open up.

### 2/5 — Why so hard to enter details not in real-time.

*2019-03-07*

So you want to change a nappy - got wipes, got clean nappy, got cream, and to use this app you need you phone with your right there and then.

This app is fine as long as you log everything in real time. Trying to enter details retrospectively and it all falls apart (awkward and often ignores the time you roll back too). the reality is when looking after a baby you want to enter some details after. The app is crap for this. Am deleting and annoyed I wasted £2.99 on it (paid for the syncing that other praised but the UI is worse than free ones so not bothering)

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — LOVE

*2023-12-01*

this is the best app, i love it sm !! i've been using it since we brought our son home and im completely dependent on it as a first time mom. however i do wish there was a way i could see all my past data like how many ounces i have pumped and all my other previous data.

### 5/5 — Alarm needed

*2022-05-11*

My only wish is to have an alarm system embedded in this app. Moms often happen to fall asleep when breastfeeding. So if We could set the time that every breast should take say 15 min and the app would beep when this time has passed - it would be great

### 5/5 — Jaundice

*2021-02-10*

We are in hospital with our new born baby who has jaundice. We need to let the midwives know when, what and how much he has fed and had nappy changes. This app was exactly what we needed. Everything is time stamped and both my partner and I can update the information on our own phones. Great app, easy to use.

### 5/5 — Overall super helpful

*2021-02-04*

This app is a life saver it helps know when I last fed and Keeps everything in one place for when the doctor asks questions I can’t remember. Everything about this is great. The only thing I would love to see is add an alarm feature. In the beginning I had to feed every 2-3 hours on the dot and it would be cool if this app had that feature.
Other than that everything it keeps track of is great and I love that each entry has the ability to add a note.

### 5/5 — Awesome app (edit)

*2020-06-14*

I use this app for the drinks and diapers of my twins. My first rating was lower than this because I couldn’t see the ml while sliding the dot. Well my wife just told me that I can click on the number and enter it manually!!!

Awesome app. We use it on both phones since with twins we have to work as a team lol.

No brainer, just pay and you won’t be deceived.

### 5/5 — I rely on this app and it saves my sanity

*2019-11-28, version 2.1*

I love the app. My baby is 7.5 months old and I’ve been using it since she was 6 weeks old. I still rely on it pretty heavily, and the girl who recommended it to me still uses it for her 2yo. When I’m so tired and my “mommy sense” isn’t quite picking up what the fussy baby is putting down, I just pop open the app and see “oh crap, it’s been 3 hours since your last nap?? No wonder you’re cranky!” Sometimes you just lose track of time and it’s awesome to have this app to refer to. There were a few glitches when she was younger, where the app would take minutes to open and then not recognize me as a user, occasional freezing and crashes, (insert mommy meltdown for not being able to track a nursing session at 3am), but those have since been fixed. I recommend the app to all of my friends. Now that she’s eating solid foods in her diet, I do wish that there was another option for adding/tracking solids somehow. Until that feature is available, I just track all of her solids as bottle feeds, so at least I know how many oz she’s had in a day. I will say, if you’re sleep training, or trying to integrate any sort of “routine”, this app made all of that so much easier. Of course I feed my little angel whenever she’s hungry, but at a few stages I would look and see how long it had been since her last feed and go “ok let’s see if we can push it 15 more minutes”, and this tactic really helped me to space out her feeds more as she got older (otherwise we might still be feeding every 2 hours). Overall, I’d say that the app is wonderful. It does take some getting used to in the first few days, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll become obsessed with the data you’re collecting. Now if only I could get my husband to download and use it, I might finally be able to sit on the toilet for 40 seconds without him running in with a fussy babe to ask what she wants.

### 5/5 — You will thank yourself for getting this app!

*2019-11-25*

Excellent app. My wife and I found it harder and harder to keep track of everything using notes when we were at the hospital in the days after birth. It was great to be able to give staff accurate information quickly from this app.
Very user friendly. No bugs. Great stats and averages. Easy to use editing if you forget to set a timer or need to adjust anything.

Best part for us is being able to use it between devices. If I’m out or away for work overnight (Husband) - I can check how things are going at home. Also easy to make fill in data on my device while Mum gets rest.

### 5/5 — Excellent! Must have!

*2019-03-02*

Highly recommend to download this app before your baby is due.

Easy to use format with large icons. Even has night mode. Gives summary of how how many feeds, diapers (wet/dirty) in 24hr/7day and 28 day period.

Especially helpful in first weeks of birth where weight of baby is being monitored as well as its input/output.

I had a difficult time between logging this info manually on paper and learning to breastfeed while in hospital. Whenever nurses asked me for the info I’d be struggling to count how many times he ate/changed diaper. With this app all that info is easily accessible.

The absolute best part is the family sharing of the app and the option for caregiver to be added to the account! So easy to keep track of everything seamlessly. I use it with my husband and my parents.

Wish I had found this app sooner!

### 5/5 — Necessity- really so useful!

*2019-02-04*

Honestly so great to have this app my husband and I got this 2 weeks after our son was born and it made life so much easier!
My only suggestion would be to have a feature that enables you to make notes or insert other activities such as bath, medicine etc

### 5/5 — Great App!!!

*2019-01-13*

This app is fantastic! Has made our first 2 weeks as new parents so much easier!! Love that my wife and I can share same data on 2 devices.
