## What is Back?

Back In Service watches your connection and wakes you the moment it returns.

Waiting out a dead zone, a tunnel, a basement, a flight, or an outage? Stop pulling your phone out every thirty seconds to check the bars. Arm the app, set it down, and go do something else. The moment your device is genuinely back online, Back In Service sounds off.

REAL SERVICE, NOT JUST BARS
A tower with no usable data isn't service. Back In Service confirms the connection actually carries data before it alerts you, so you don't get woken by a signal that can't load anything.

CHOOSE WHAT COUNTS
Alert on any connection, or only on cellular, or only on Wi-Fi. Waiting specifically to get off hotel Wi-Fi and back onto your carrier? Set it to cellular and ignore everything else.

PICK YOUR ALERT
A gentle ping or a full alarm, with six built-in tones. Time-sensitive alerts can break through Do Not Disturb and a Focus mode, so an overnight outage doesn't go unnoticed.

TUNE BATTERY AGAINST SPEED
Three reliability modes. Battery Saver checks in rarely. Balanced is the default. Maximum keeps the screen awake for the most exact result — best on a charger.

KEEP WATCHING
Leave the app armed after it fires to track a flaky connection that keeps dropping, or let it disarm itself after a single alert.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No sign-up. No analytics. No data leaves your device, and there is nothing to collect. Your settings are stored on your phone and nowhere else.
