Wish I could see the app in imperial rather than metric for my silly American brain. 2. Like seeing my battery% on my board and controller. Helpful to prepare for rides. 3. Connects pretty easily without any hiccups. 4. There’s a kids mode so the boards sold after 2021 are “safer”. 5. The app seems like it had barely any thought put into it and as one review stated “an unfinished product. After getting the app I was expecting something horrible because of the 1.8 reviews. I guess my expectations were so low that I was pleasantly surprised by the app being mediocre. ### 3/5 — Ehhhh *2022-09-29, version 1.62* So far it does what it says . But I can literally get this intel on the remote. I’ll check it out for awhile but kind of useless unless you want the flashy colorful stuff on the app. ### 3/5 — Worked ok for me. *2022-05-19, version 1.62* I had no issues signing in or registering, which was a pleasant surprise after seeing the reviews. The main reason I downloaded the app was so I could see more precise battery level on my board, and this app accomplishes this nicely. It displays the battery in 5% increments instead of 20%, which is my biggest gripe about the display that comes with the backfire remote. That said, I’m not a huge fan of the five second unskippable ads that play whenever you open the app and having to click through pairing instructions every time I want to connect to the board. Though it’s a bit inconvenient, I’ll probably keep using it for the points exchange. They’ve got some good stuff on there. ### 3/5 — Works with zealot s *2021-05-09, version 1.4* Look forward to more control of the boards functions. -Acceleration and braking curves -Km to miles -update list of boards in “my skateboard” section It would be could have an experimental feature that allowed a deceleration curve. The motors and belts cause a “motor braking” effect when letting off the acceleration. Would be cool if there was a way to mitigate that so we could just cruise to a stop when letting off the throttle like a traditional longboard could achieve. Also an option to inverse the acceleration with the brake when the reverse switch is on. I have a bad habit of thinking I need to pull back the trigger to go in reverse. ### 3/5 — Very vague app. *2020-12-02, version 1.2* It’s okay I guess. What kinda bothered me is that I can’t change km to miles on the app. I tried repairing the remote and connect the app to my board. My remote can change to miles but not the app. Backfire I hope there’s going to be a major update. ### 2/5 — Not a Finished Product *2022-06-12, version 1.62* I was surprised of the many spelling and formatting errors I found throughout the app. Although the app did connect to my Zealot S, it didn’t offer more information than the remote.
