It completely takes all the fun out of it for me. This was such a great game before the ads. It was my very favorite. Now it makes me so annoyed. ### 2/5 — Def not random rolls *2025-01-11, version 1.0.56* In the most competitive level, computer gets a ridiculous about of doubles. Also, rolls are not random as I have never had to do an initial re-roll of the first single dice, as there has never been a double roll to start. Also, computer roll targets single pieces and repeatedly gets dice rolls that can hit any of my single pieces. ### 3/5 — Novice player *2023-11-13, version 1.0.54* A good game to learn the basics of backgammon.but even as a beginner I have noticed it vavours the computer.. if you have a single piece the dice always comes up with the right number to send you to the bar.at the finish line the computer always gets at least one set of four dice.will carry on and try to win. ### 1/5 — Nope *2023-08-20, version 1.0.52* This has been my goto fave board games for YEARS and recently they added ads that kidnap you and take you where you don’t want to be. I think they want pay to keep it from using high pressure selling. Nope, not for me. They added the most intrusive ads I have every seen in an App. Charge us but don’t bombard us with useless ads because you’ve had a few downloads there is plenty of other games in the store and this is not worth it. ### 3/5 — Glitchy *2023-05-09, version 1.0.51* I’ve had a lot of fun with this program for a long time, but if I don’t completely close the app down periodically, it gets very glitchy. Checkers disappear, checkers from both opposing sides appear on the same point (I wish I could attach a screen shot to prove this) or a checker on a point cannot be moved - I roll the dice and am told no move is possible. This has happened several times, unless I completely close the program and sweep it off the start screen and reboot it ### 2/5 — Cheating Computer *2023-04-01, version 1.0.51* I finally decided to delete since it was consistently leaving an immovable piece on the board allowing the computer to win. Sometimes it wouldn’t let me make a legal move and other times with a double it would only allow me 3 moves. Deleted game before I even got half way through. ### 1/5 — This game cheats in plain view!!! *2022-07-10, version 1.0.50* This game has always cheated in favor of the computer. Aside from the multiple reviews pointing out how the computer opponent gets a ridiculous amounts of doubles, the recent glitch that actually SHOWS ME the re-roll so my man/men can be taken out is what has me looking for another game. Now I can actually see the computer’s original roll, which doesn’t hit any of my men or doesn’t get it off the bar, and then with a shiver and a buzz, it rolls again to get its perfect roll. There’s cheating, then there’s throwing it in our face. Best choose another game if you’re looking. ### 2/5 — backgammon *2022-04-09, version 1.0.50* My backgammon has stopped loading on my screen. It seems to go in waves where even if you look like you will easily win, the computer rolls these impossible rolls where it beats you. ### 3/5 — Infuriating at times *2022-01-08, version 1.0.48* Just had to say I play this game a lot but find it infuriating how it will, 95% of the time, throw the exact number it needs to put you on the bar or when all your pieces are almost back it throws you a number giving you no option but to leave at least one piece open - and it then throws the correct number to put you on the bar! It happens almost all the time so it cannot be a random throw of the dice! Dies ist keines davon. Es gibt nur 1-pt-Matches, keinen Dopplerwürfel, keine Matches. Auf dem höchsten “Hard” Level macht es die schlimmsten Anfängerfehler. Nach 5 leichten Siegen hatte ich genug. Schön anzusehen ist es auch nicht. This has been the best backgammon game I have ever had. I have tried at least four or five of them and to me it seems the opponent always had ALL the doubles every solitary game and I could never beat them on a game On this game at least I have a chance and I’d like that both teams are able to get doubles. I personally think the other backgammon games cheat. Why would you want to play their games and never get to win and never get doubles??? I have played this game for many years and it is the best for solo games against the computer.
