It locks up my iPhone and takes too long to exit hard close the app and get back in before your turn times out. I’ve lost a lot of coin I’ve played and doubled when I’m in a position to win. Just horrible update. 2026 May update - I’m done with the game. I played a 75k game when I had almost 16M coins, yet later in the day when I went back in, it had removed all but 2k coins. Support said I played a 10M game and doubled. They would not resolve the issue. So I’m done with the game. Hitting the delete button and moving on. And the game also locks up near end of games when you are making a comeback or close to defeating a higher ranked opponent. Just horrible update. ### 4/5 — Best out there, but needs improvement *2026-01-05* I agree with several of the most recent reviewers on both the nature of the players and the “random” dice rolls. I have only started playing since November 2025 and have 168 gammon wins and 34 backgammon wins, but only a 70% win rate. I will play people who have maybe 15 gammon wins, none to 1 backgammon wins, a 36%-55% win rate, but have a winning streak of 4-8 and will beat me with such ease. They will conveniently roll the exact numbers they need to hit my pieces or sit back into a spot. I could have 4-5/6 spots closed on my board, but they will escape on every roll. But when it’s my turn to sit a piece, they may only have the 6 spot occupied and lo and behold I roll double 6’s one to three times in a roll and can’t sit. Or they have 4 and 6 occupied and I roll, you guessed it, a 4 and a 6 and then double 4s or double 6s for the next few rolls. The statistics don’t align with someone who has such a low win rate but high winning streak getting another win, versus someone like me with my playing skill. My win rate would easily be 90+ percent if these “random” rolls didn’t occur. The programmed algorithm of the dice rolls is not truly random. I can tell after a game or two when I will lose next. It’s like the computer wants you to lose at certain times. And I agree with some of the “people” I play. They don’t make logical moves half the time. They will rearrange pieces on their board rather than bear off which makes no sense. I also dislike the fact that you can win or buy new dice with gems or with achievements, but you can’t with boards. You can only win new boards if you complete the newest Album, but you have to collect Ace cards which are so hard to get. I competed a race and got an Ace card, but it didn’t actually award me an Ace, just lower star cards. So it’s nearly impossible to get new boards. Yet almost every person I play has a custom board. Lastly, the ads that cut into gameplay or even at the end of a game will cut game sounds and audio most of the time. I have to hard quit and restart the game to get the sounds to come back. So Gameberry, please listen to your players as we’re not dumb and can tell what’s actually feasible and “random” and what isn’t. Please fix these issues for better gameplay and don’t gaslight us into believing these things are truly random and the “people” aren’t mixed with bots. ### 1/5 — App Stop working *2026-01-04, version 1.160.0* App stop working at the middle of the game. They all seem to use the same bogus algorithms. This one is heavily biased on the opponents home side of the board. Move any of your chips on this side of the board and your opponent without fail will ALWAYS roll the perfect die to capture your pieces which is statistically improbable. Game freezes and deletes coins *2026-01-27* I was happily playing this very fun game for a few months and then it started glitching after I reached 10 million coins. The last game I played was for 5 million coins and the game froze on the second move so I reloaded and the game deleted the 5 million coins from my account. Then I complained and the game deleted another 8million coins so I went from 16 million to 2 million coins. Don’t waste your time on this BS game! It’s a glitchy mess and it’s biased in a home way.
