If the computer needs a 6 and 1 one, it’ll roll a 6 and a 1. I’ve had occurrences where I’ve been way ahead in a game and the computer will roll three or four doubles in a row to come back and beat me. Come on! That’s no fun. And looking at the reviews from 4 years ago, I am experiencing the same kind of cheating from the “random roll” site that others have complained about. This has been my favorite game of backgammon, no need to find another one, but I’m going to be deleting it soon because I come to play for relaxation, but instead I get angry because I can’t play because the rolls aren’t fair. Don’t tell me that it’s only in my head, because I’m finally frustrated enough to review this game. It wins almost all starting draws. If you accept a double, it rolls a double most of the time. The statistics page has many errors unfortunately, which should be very easy to fix. Sometimes, computer proposes to double even if it has no statistical chance of winning the game, thus « giving » you the tournament win, which is like giving up too soon… On the plus side, I like that publicity is only at the end of a game and that the playing graphics run very smoothly, as should be expected. ### 1/5 — Rip-off *2021-11-29, version 5.2.1* I bought an in-game purchase to remove banner ads. I used to be evenly matched but now it just gets whatever roll it needs and my rolls are usually the worst case scenario. The designer of this game has been laughing over these comments for at least 13 years. Once you are in the house and need anything but 6 and 2 for example you can be sure you will roll a double 6 or a 6 and a 2. If the computer is in the house and can only come out with a 4, he will roll a double 4. Do not get this game. Way more normally random games out there instead of this one making sure the computer always wins. ### 1/5 — A Fool’s Backgammon Gold *2025-04-18, version 5.4.1* Have been playing this game for years and know how to win. Recently, I’ve noticed that it’s almost impossible to win against the computer, regardless of the level of expertise you assign the computer. I see that many others have had similar experiences. Backgammon is a game of skill AND chance. Unfortunately, you can have plenty of skill and absolutely NO chance of winning. It’s really a shame. I used to like this game played on this platform. However, for the last month or so it is impossible to win, and it is almost as if the computer is out for vengeance. Every time I get knocked off and there is only one point covered, I roll that number in doubles 4 to 5 times in a row. However, I will have all points, but one covered and remarkably that’s the role the computer gets. In addition, I will get a role that forces me to a spot, I won’t have any options, and then the computer takes advantage of my position.
