Every week the industry throws something at you — a gig, a feud, a label offer, a lucky break. Every choice costs something. There's no perfect move, only the one you can live with.

CLIMB THE CHARTS
Watch your singles debut on the Top 40 and fight for #1. Build a loyal audience, grow your reach from the garage to the arena, and bank streaming and merch royalties that keep accruing between sessions.

Four new ways to run a career.

SOCIAL REACH — post to your feed every week. Chasing followers with something controversial works, but it spends the authenticity that turns followers into real fans. The number can go up while the career stalls.

YOUR CREW — hire a manager, a producer, a booking agent, a publicist or a lawyer. Each one earns their keep, and each one is on a weekly salary you have to make.

STREAMING PLATFORMS — four platforms, four royalty rates, and each favours different genres. Pitch a song to a playlist and what you record starts deciding what you get paid.

RECORD LABELS — an offer arrives with an advance and a weekly budget attached. Signing costs you a share of every stream and a say in what you release. Staying independent costs you the money.

New store screenshots, and clearer wording throughout the game — especially in English.

FIXED: fame could show up with a long tail of decimals. It is a whole number now, and it grows at exactly the same rate as before. Your own single's row on the chart no longer renders as an oversized empty box.

THE WIRE AWARDS — a year-end ceremony that finally judges the year you just had, across five categories. Win one and the room changes.

MUSIC VIDEOS — put real money behind a song that's already charting, and find out whether it breaks out.

FEATURES — cut a duet with someone you've built a real relationship with, or with a rival who's currently outselling you. Their audience becomes part of yours.

MONTHLY TARGETS — three goals at a time, so the week-to-week grind has a direction.

Plus 65 new situation cards, including a new content pack, Silver Screen: sync deals, auteur video directors and red carpets.

FIXED: your own songs could go missing from the chart entirely, and when they did appear the title was unreadable. Both are fixed — a release shows up the moment you put it out, even if it hasn't cracked the Top 40 yet.
