## What is Backstreet Merge Diner?

Can you light up this old shopping street one more time?

Your grandmother's diner closed twenty years ago.
In the rainy alley, the first order slip is waiting on the ground.

STORY
A quiet post-war shopping street, half of it behind shutters. My diner closed twenty years ago, without a word to anyone. When you open the door, you will find the first order slip already pinned to the wooden board.

Rice into a rice ball. Tea leaves into a warm cup.
Every time you put two of the same thing together, the dish grows up, and someone's memory comes back a little.

Mugi, the black cat, carries the key around his neck and brings you pieces of the night market.
Why did the night market stop twenty years ago? What did I never get to say?
It comes back to you slowly, as you play.

### 1.9 — 2026-09-04

Version 1.9.
The things you can buy inside the app are now properly registered with the store for the first time. Until now, pressing a buy button only ever answered "This item is no longer available," and nothing could actually be bought. We are sorry it took this long.
Nothing here is a monthly charge. Removing ads and the shopping street supporter pass are one-time purchases; everything else is used up when you use it.
You can still play all the way to the end without buying any of them.
There is also a button to restore what you bought, for when you change devices.

### 1.8 — 2026-08-29

Version 1.8.
All eleven items the shop offers are now registered and buyable. In the previous version only four of them were, so the other buttons did nothing when tapped. We are sorry about that.
Every item is now on sale outside Japan as well.
The shopping street supporter pass is a one-time purchase, not a monthly subscription.
You can still finish the whole game without buying any of them.
There is also a button to restore what you bought, for when you change devices.

### 1.6 — 2026-08-06

バージョン 1.6。
注文を772件まで増やして、遊べる期間をさらに伸ばしました。
物語を81話に増やし、終盤の注文まで途切れず続くようにしました。
週替わりのイベントを104週ぶん、それぞれ別の内容にしました。これまでは52週で終わっていました。
季節の章を24に増やし、それぞれに実際の注文とお話を入れました。
夜市の通し札を、季節ごとに使う形にしました。買った季節のあいだだけ効きます。
夜市の報酬レーンも季節ごとに集め直す形にして、受け取れる段を6つに増やしました。
これまでに通し札を買ってくださった方の札と、集めた券はそのまま残ります。

### 1.5 — 2026-08-05

バージョン 1.5。
注文を604件まで増やして、遊べる期間を大きく伸ばしました。
物語を72話に増やし、終盤の注文まで途切れず続くようにしました。これまでは96件目でお話が止まっていました。
終盤でも鍵が手に入るようにして、開けられないままの章が残らないようにしました。
週替わりのイベントを52週ぶん、それぞれ別の内容にしました。これまでは8週で一巡して、同じ内容の繰り返しになっていました。
季節ごとの12の章に、名前だけでなく実際の注文とお話を入れました。
すべての画面で、文字の読みやすさとボタンの押しやすさを見直しました。
購入をキャンセルしたあと、しばらく買うボタンが反応しなくなる不具合を直しました。
「購入を復元」を押しても何も表示されなかったのを、結果が出るようにしました。

### 1.4 — 2026-05-29

バージョン 1.4。
スタッツカードのアイコンを切り抜き直して、紙の背景を透明にしました。
コイン・星・鍵などの数字とラベルが狭い画面でも改行せずに収まるようにしました。
画面上部の「次の一歩」をタップすると、いま何をすればいいかが画面中央に光って案内されるようになりました。
画面下部のタブのアイコンと名前を同じ行にそろえました。
