## What is Backwords?

Say “cat” backwards, record it, then hear it in reverse — how close to “cat” can you get?

Backwords is a brand-new voice game: say the given word backwards, record it, and see how close your reversed voice gets to the real thing.

HOW TO PLAY (3 steps)
1. Say the word (e.g. “cat”) out loud, normally, and record it
2. Hear it played in reverse — that strange sound is your target
3. Copy that sound and record again. Flip it back, and your voice becomes “cat”

REAL VOICE SCORING
No speech recognition — your actual voice is analyzed across Overall, Vowel, Consonant, Rhythm, Pitch and Clarity, shown on a radar chart. The more you practise, the higher you climb.

SOLO OR TOGETHER
A daily word, free mode (use any word or song lyric you like), random play, a 178-word collection to complete, weekly flips (words that turn into other real words — “dog” becomes “god”), an endless streak mode, pass-and-play battles, a reverse-guessing quiz, and online matches — share a room code and play with friends anywhere.

SHARE IT
Every result becomes a 9:16 vertical video with the broken take and the restored take back to back, so whoever watches hears the flip for themselves.

FRIENDLY & PRIVATE
Free to play. Your voice is processed entirely on your device and never leaves your phone — online matches exchange only names and scores. Everything except online matches works in airplane mode. No accounts, no ads, no in-app purchases.

- Online matches: share a room code and play against friends anywhere.
- Rescored. Getting close now actually shows in your score.
- Fixed words that read the same backwards (like “racecar”) leaving you stuck.
- Sharing is a real video now, and the answer stays hidden until the restored voice plays.
- Much smaller download and a faster launch.
- Fixed several places that still showed Japanese when playing in English.
