It’s clearly a game that was originally designed for PC, and the touchscreen controls just don’t feel precise or responsive enough for a fast paced soccer game. The characters, visuals, and overall vibe are still fun, but actually controlling the players on mobile can be frustrating at times. This feels more like a direct port than a game redesigned for mobile play. What is missing is the addition of customizable team names and MLS and women’s players/teams. This is what made the backyard soccer games standout for me in the early 2000s. The mobile controls can be a little challenging at times, but is overall useable.
