## What is Backyard Weather Station?

Backyard Weather Station is a fast, beautiful native home for your personal Ambient Weather station. It talks directly to the Ambient Weather service with your own API keys — no extra account, no middleman — and shows your hyperlocal conditions far more clearly than the stock app.

LIVE DASHBOARD
• Big, glanceable current temperature with “feels like”
• Plain-language conditions summary and a backdrop that shifts with the weather
• Trend arrows showing how each reading is moving over the last hour
• Wind compass with gusts and the day’s peak
• Humidity, dew point, pressure, UV, solar, rainfall, indoor, and lightning tiles
• Rearrange the tiles to put what matters first

GO DEEPER
• Tap any reading for 24-hour and 7-day history charts
• Records screen: highs and lows for every metric, with when they happened
• Comfort metrics: heat index, wind chill, cloud base, and frost alerts

KNOW WHAT’S COMING
• A barometric (Zambretti) 24-hour outlook derived from your pressure trend
• Sunrise and sunset with the sun’s live position on a daylight arc
• Current moon phase and illumination
