## What is Backyard Wildlife Alerts?

Backyard Wildlife Alerts lets neighbors share wildlife sightings and get a heads-up when a bear, coyote, bobcat or other animal is reported near the places they care about.

• See recent sightings near you, on a list or a map, with photos and details from neighbors
• Set your Watch Zone: your home plus other places like work or school, each with its own radius
• Choose which animals you want alerts for, and set quiet hours
• Share a sighting in seconds: what you saw, what it was doing, and where
• "I saw it too" confirmations help everyone know what's real

Browsing sightings and getting alerts never needs an account. Create a free account to share sightings.

Not an emergency service. If an animal is a threat, call 911. Observe wildlife from a distance and never approach or feed wild animals.
