I like this as a nice option for my backyard flock that doesn’t require a subscription. 

The only features I wish it had are being able to track the weight of my hens and also a way to track what chicken supplies I have on hand!

Backyarder is perfect for keeping track of our flock of 9 hens! Clean simple layout has everything we need: egg tracking (with a convenient reminder notification), the diary for keeping records of health or broodiness either by individual hen or the flock as a whole is uncomplicated but very useful for varied needs. The customer support is awesome! App is well worth it!

My 9yo daughter, 11yo son and I are using it to keep track of our 23-chicken flock in rural Maryland. We find it to be a fun way to record chickens’ physical attributes and personalities as well as egg production and expenses. Also, I love that they get to practice their math skills using real-world examples (charts, graphs about our animals) on this app. An entertaining, very useful app.
