Urgh!!! ### 2/5 — UI is terrible *2026-04-14, version 73.2* I would highly recommend you employ a new UX specialist and re design the front end as the app is absolutely terrible from a users perspective. It’s not obvious where you can click to get more information from appointments. There’s often an overload of information on the messages area so you have to scroll to where you message a midwife. I cannot click on my birth plan option as the options ribbon at the bottom covers it. It’s truly a very poor user experience. ### 2/5 — There is a bug *2026-04-07, version 73.2* If not used within few days, the pin password is not accepted anymore and I have to go all the way to NHS Log in and request a link to reset password. Bring back paper notes. Filled out the extensive pre-booking questionnaire, for none of the answers to pull through to the online system on the day of the appointment. Questions are all over the place, medical history not recorded, don’t rely on it for appointment times. Staff aren’t trained properly to use the system. NHS staff have even told me they can’t log on to access it or know how it works. Whenever I asked for technical advice no one’s been able to help or answer my questions. Why it’s being used to record highly important medical information for pregnant people is a complete mystery. For something that’s supposed to be here for pregnant woman during such a vulnerable time it sure does cause a lot of stress. Half the time I can’t log in, or the app won’t load. Then when I finally manage to get in the app crashes over and over. Now half of my stuff doesn’t load. It’s not easy to use at all and I’m constantly searching for what I need. Do we pregnant women really matter so little that the creators and designers of this app won’t fix or address the bugs? It’s like they’ve just made and published the app and gone and left it. DO BETTER. ### 1/5 — Atrocious *2026-06-25, version 73.2* I have never used an app that is so poorly designed both from a technical and a design standpoint. I am logged out in active sessions, it is incredibly slow and prone to errors, the content is formatted in an unreadable manner, I am stuck on an “active” week that has passed, more than half of my appointments are missing, I receive the same notification every week asking about baby movements which just builds anxiety at a time before baby movements should be monitored, and not a single notification about new appointments, upcoming appointments, test results, anything actually useful. I cannot understand how this has been the approved app for such vital healthcare. I cannot express how bad it is. ### 1/5 — Hate this stupid ap.. *2026-05-14, version 73.2* I find this very annoying and unhelpful. During a very stressful time you’d expect the creators to look into the many issues people experience with this system. The pin is annoying I can never remember. Why do I need a pin? It’s on my phone I should be able to just open it or have a password so my phone opens it for me. Not all appointments even appear there so it’s still a case of having to check emails. Was forced to get the ap to continue my journey but using it as little as possible as it doesn’t seem to do anything but irritate me. The reviews seem to all be negative so don’t get the 4.6 rating?? Fakery I feel. Continually kicks me out, glitches all the time and I barely have any information in there. Why have this in order to go paperless, if I and the midwives are still relying on paperwork? So annoying ### 1/5 — App Bad ger Notes *2026-03-04, version 72.0* This app isn’t worth downloading because you won’t be able to see anything useful in it, and you can record your appointments in your calendar without a PIN code anyway. The app is terribly inconvenient: on top of your email and password, you also have to create a PIN. If you forget it — and you definitely will — you’ll have to reset it every time. What’s the point of the app if it contains no information about you? ### 1/5 — Never show address *2026-03-03, version 72.0* The worst app for the worst healthcare system. It never show you who and where you’re gonna meet for your appointment. It never show you any history of your blood exams, results, past appointments. I see no point using this app. It also says “A text reminder 7 days prior will confirm the appointment and location” which is a lie, never happened. I used My Chart app for the USA health system and everything is so clear and easy to follow, all my health exams, results, documentation’s for every appointment of me and my 3 years old are all in the app. This app is pointless and rubbish. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Miss *2026-01-20, version 72.0* Good ### 5/5 — Good *2026-01-17, version 72.0* Excellent ### 5/5 — Login issue *2025-11-25, version 72.0* The Bager Notes app logs me out automatically after some time, and when I try to log in again using the correct password, it still shows “Wrong password or email.” This keeps happening repeatedly. Whenever I really need to use the app, I am unable to log in for several days. I keep entering the same correct password again and again, and then suddenly one day it logs in without any issue. This is a major glitch/bug in the app, because the password is correct but the app keeps rejecting it and only accepts it randomly after many days. ### 5/5 — Good app *2025-10-11, version 70.0* I’m really happy with this ### 5/5 — Review *2022-03-01, version 52.2* Having so many issues with this app, every 3 days it will say the app is offline or the storage can’t be found. It’s very difficult when you have appointments to attend and they ask for your results or information the app doesn’t not work. However I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app because after a few days of use it comes up with a message saying that the offline storage can’t be found and the app needs reinstalling. I’ve had it for 1 month and have now installed it 3 or 4 times. ### 5/5 — Not working after the latest iOS update *2021-11-12, version 50.2* App stopped working, keeps crashing and displays info 'Offline storage could not be found or started. If this problem persists please try uninstalling or reinstalling the app'. Doesn't help. When it eventually gets to the stage to log in with the PIN, it then displays another message informing about an error and suggests contacting the health provider. ### 4/5 — Useful *2025-06-05, version 69.0* We’ve found that everything has been well governed with the help of this handy app. All our appointments and the extra reading have been really useful. One to swear by. Would get 5 ⭐️ were it not for an unusual loading time between screens and service tabs.
