Por ejemplo cuando pongo buscar habitaciones en una zona determinada me aparecen opciones a 20 km lejos de lo que estoy pidiendo. No se puede especificar exactamente la zona en donde queres que se haga la búsqueda y eso lo hace muy engorroso. Por otro lado no se pueden borrar los anuncios que no me sirven. Por lo que cada vez que hago una búsqueda tengo que volver a ver todos los anuncios que ya vi, lo cual enlentece mucho la búsqueda. Las búsquedas de habitaciones es algo que lleva mucho tiempo y debería poder ser más organizada y sin tanta pérdida de tiempo, poder eliminar anuncios, que te aparezca información básica como ubicación en la vista previa sin necesidad de entrar a la ubicación para saber donde es. I receive nothing when landlords reach out to me. I’ve already missed out on 2 apartments because I did not know I had received a message until it was too late! There’s no option to control this in the app’s settings and I know my OS notification settings are fine. No matter how many people you message to inquire about the rooms they post, less than 10% will reply. And there’s no way to do any follow-up. You have to wait and hope the person thinks you look good, so that then they will allow you to chat with them. They also keep allowing people to post ads looking for rooms, so only half the ads are for actual available rooms. Basically if you’re desperately looking for a room, most likely you won’t get anything. This has basically become tinder but for roomates. ### 1/5 — Waste of time and money! I had just 7 views and 0 messages on Badi, after paying for Badi plus. SpareRoom is so much better, i listed my property on it two days after on Badi and have at least 3-4 people contacting me every day. It’s the right idea. This is where it ends. Cons The app is basically follows the tinder model but for flatmates. It just doesn’t really work in my eyes anyway. It seems as if the developers of the app are only after money. You cannot reply to more than one person without having to pay €9,99 extra to reply to more people. Why ask me to jump through multiple hoops to be verified then cut off the possibility of finding a flat mate. This doesn’t make sense to me. We are the people whom you rely on to make your app functional. Your business model is ruining your business model. It’s a cannibalistic approach. Nobody is going to place deposits through your app if you can’t even speak to the person who is renting the room as they have spoken to ONE PERSON previously. This app makes its name on finding the perfect flat mate. How is that possible if you’re barred from speaking to others after speaking to the first? There are lots of scammers on the application, but usually they can be found out pretty quickly but going back to the point above, you interact with one, and boom, cannot reply to a real person. The filters are too rigid. You’re either in one box or the next box. Most of the time people don’t fall into one specific category. I would continue to go on and on but I’m just bored of writing about this app, I’m just wasting my time because I’m completely sure that the developers won’t do anything to change their ways. UPDATE: they have replied saying they have changed their model, which is fine, but they still haven’t addressed the fact that they only give you one match, and when you accept, it’s some spam message and you can’t speak to anyone again. ### 1/5 — It now costs €10/month *2021-07-14, version 5.105.0* You can’t use Badi to find new flatmates anymore, unless you pay. The new Badi Plus service allows you to have unlimited matches, extra visibility and the possibility to proactively contact recommended tenants based on your preferences. And one of this person where taking pictures of my flat and then didn’t booked the room finding strangers excuses ....🤬 Then a lady pretending to looking for a room to move in at the next days... then she came home she was really happy and satisfied to see the flat and she says yes I want to move in ... then she never give me news back at the same day when I asked her to provide me her identity and documents... then she blocked me🤬 Then another guy came to my place, it was a guy really really polite and he where talking with a gentle language.... he was as well really happy to move in ASAP, then he told me that he was afraid about his bad’s experiences in his last Flatshare Then this guy too toke some pictures.. and say that was to remember the place where he where goin... they I asked him to provide me his documents payslip and work contract etc ... to show me that all was ok 👌🏽 and he did all good... But I got a suspect that something where strange on him... and finally I realized that his documents where fake. And he try to convince me that ones I do and give to him the rental contract I will pay me the money for the rent. When I say we have to do this here and in face to face the transfer etc ... he just told me that finally he Booked other place ... Really bizar attitude.... But this never happened. So please be aware this app in himself is not bad the concept and the idea of the app.... But this app as BIG BIG SECURITY FAILS AND SCAMS AND FAKES PROFILES.... I have contacted customer support twice with no response. If the app functions are changed- don’t you think you should send an email to users? I also cannot find any option to upgrade to the new ‘paid version’ with the same features as we had before for free. I was scammed out of a large sum of money and was left homeless as a result of Badi’s refusal to vet property owners and approve listings of verified properties. When I contacted them for support and a refund of the money I had lost, they replied that they “are a Start up” and will not be providing me with any financial or other compensation whatsoever. The APP has tons of potential but it seems to me mismanaged. I paid premium for a room as a trial and there was no difference whatsoever. Not only that but I went premium with a second room and the first one went off premium and continually prompted me to pay again. I sent an email but there was never a reply. I tried to contact Badi to no avail. So I paid again but nothing ever happened. I wrote close to two hundred personalized messages to some of the recommendations Badi made but one in a hundred replied and they all booked a visit but left me waiting on the day of the visit. Also the majority of people recommended to me by Badi were not even close to what I had set up on the App. I marked very clearly I preferred single non smoking males but Badi kept sending me dozens of female smokers and couples. Also Badi sent me dozens of recommendations with pictures that contained only dogs, monkeys, sunsets, large groups of people and a few pictures that looked more like a hook up application. Today I was told I needed to upgrade the App. So I did upgrade the app and once again I lost the premium status of my two rooms and the app is asking now to pay for things that were free before updating the app today. Now it’s impossible to ignore a recommended tenant without paying 9.99 yet again! Why can’t they monitor the pictures and have more enforced guidelines? Why did I have to pay premium multiple times for the same rooms due to a glitch and why is there no customer service? Why are they now asking for more money without any improvement to the app or their services? But, it’s the USERS of it that doesn’t work as expected and is quite limited in terms of intelligence capacities... I wish some of the people among us weren’t so ignorant and dumb, revealing the lack of adequate capacity in terms of intelligence. Because, what is it that you cannot understand, people? Entire place means the place that is entire, the whole thing, not your “10m2 of the entire room” of your 7 people WG. Here the entire place means the entire apartment. So, respect it, because here we people are having to deal with your online garbage that you leave around the NordVPN internet. What do you think, when you false your ad? Yeah right, I was looking for a whole apartment but you convinced me now, fine, add me to your WG room. 😒 Other than these annoying people that are actually all around the internet, tha Badi app is actually amazing. I have really found a place the first day I used the app, I have sent two requests to apartments within an hour of looking and evaluating. Both answered the same day, very quick, got a viewing date, one was cancelled later though, but the cheaper and fairly the same level of the studio Apartement was available and already booked it all within two days. All payments are clear and there, nothing’s giving you hidden costs, I liked that the most. Very comfy and easy I found a place to stay for 5 months.
