If your thinking of getting this game this should help you decide. First of all: this part is to give you an idea of what the game is like, This game HEAVILY focus’s on loot and collecting materials, it’s a great looter shooter with PUBG feel to it. Only in 3rd person tho. Other wise it feels like CODM, It plays like if you get spotted and you don’t spot them, Your Dead. Do element of surprise is Very big here, also it’s Very related to EFT (Escape From Tarkov) You go into the map. Loot for Guns Ammo Grenades Materials. Get the escape zone, go to lobby store loot in warehouse. Keep guns and ammo equipped, rinse and repeat. If you die any Current loot will be lost except one item in a special slot. (Which can be expanded) so it can be pretty tense at times. Do not play this game if: You have high stress levels You don’t like campers You don’t like losing your progress Play this game if: You like high risk high reward You are competitive You enjoy sniping You like a verity of guns and customization options. Thank you for your time -BOXhead ### 3/5 — It’s good but *2022-02-12, version 1.0.21* Dude I love this game it is super fun it’s so great to play but needs work of course. The biggest issue is the small community witch isn’t something you can fix right of the bat I understand this but an and eu servers takes forever to put you in a match and when it does it is usually just a bit lobby. So then you switch to sea servers witch loads you in quicker and puts you in lobby’s with actual people. The only problem is that there are hackers everywhere and I mean everywhere or they are using plug ins. It makes this game so un fun it seriously ruins it. To the point where I’m hating it more than the enjoying part. It’s either deal with hacker lobby’s or go in lobby’s where there is just aid and bots. Have a great day! ### 4/5 — A BRIGHT FUTURE *2022-01-20, version 1.0.21* This game has a bright future guys/developer!!! it has the potential to be an Escape From Tarkov like another guy said, BUT THE PROBLEM Is the storage is a immense pain because you can store that much of stuff, in 3-2 runs you need to sell somethings to make room for other and then you repeat the cycle, you should be able to store things in your backpack in order to make more room but i get the fact that y’all can get penalized for copyright so is better this way. Last thing you should be able to change the sight and mag and grip of your weapons DURING THE MATH not before DURING because you might encounter a big weapon that is worthless compare to a cheap but modified. Great work y’all are doing here devs or dev!!! hope it pays well. Luigini out :) 4/5 stars -1 main storage. ### 4/5 — Please update this into game *2021-07-21, version 1.0.17* Y’all to make it to where we can build an ad better guns you need to make it to where you can barricade doors and build up to where you can shoot from towers you need to make it to where there’s less lags and more towers that you could stand on and shoot from and you need to make the footsteps less noisy that way it’s hard to hear where they are ### 3/5 — Needs a few improvements *2021-05-31, version 1.0.4* First off, I enjoy the heck out of this game, but there is just one issue I have with it. I can go a whole match without encountering other players or bots and it never has connectivity issues, but as soon as I start shooting at said players/bots, it reconnects to the server and for the most part it lets me continue playing that round. Other times it kicks me from the match and I have to reconnect to the server. As far as gameplay goes, there are no other issues I have found. ### 4/5 — Wonderful but have a request. *2021-05-24, version 1.0.4* This game is absolutely wonderful. It has potential to be EFT on mobile but one request I have is some people like to play offline with bots. Could there possibly be an option to have an offline inventory for offline play? Because most people like myself aren’t the absolute best at shooter games and would love a offline bots mode, along with an option to have an inventory for offline only. ### 4/5 — Good game *2021-04-07, version 1.0.4* Its a good game, it runs smooth, and has all the basic gunplay like all the other mobile shooters; problem is though: LOADING TIMES TAKE FOREVER. I just started this game, and first couple of matches was alright, but once i passed lvl 5, loading times take forever, its discouraging to play and wait such a long time for 1 match. Would be appreciated if you guys find a way to speed that up. ### 3/5 — Needs a tad bit of work *2021-03-21, version 1.0.3* So first of all there’s a backpack problem, the thing with the backpack is that it has slots instead of weight, it makes it so that u can only can a certain amount of 1 item instead of multiple ones. Another problem that I encounter was the exit problem, the time limit till escape makes it boring and very campy as someone can just wait at the exist for other player and it’s not fun. The last problem that encounter was when I picked up a gun and can’t put on equipment on it in battle, it makes it so that you have to drop items that you want so you can save a slot for your gun. ### 3/5 — Has great potential *2021-03-18, version 1.0.3* I play ping and they just came out with metro like 4months ago and this is literally just like that for those who don’t know metro it’s basically tarkov anyways this game is great but the matchmaking is god awful like really bad yea I can find games but sometimes I wait 3-5min and I look on world chat and everybody is saying they can’t find matches so I mean they’re people playing but the matching is just slow but I have no idea when this game came out but it’s pretty good graphics aren’t all that but still pretty cool ### 4/5 — In the works... still an amazing game. *2021-01-11, version 1.0.3* Badlanders, as all new games usually do, needs some work. Honestly, it doesn’t need much, and I see this game has a very huge potential. If you have played this game and for some reason just couldn’t find any kind of thrill or feeling that hooks you into playing more, you probably just need to get better. No doubt I’m glad the mobile community is expanding because that means in the near future we will have better selections of games and many more gameplay experiences from our devices. Everyone knows how difficult it gets trying to find some all around relatively decent games on Mobile that are about the player’s experience and not just pay to win. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — A lot of potential but the hacking is unbearable *2023-03-20* I’ve been playing since season 2, and the game itself is fun. The server lag has gotten significantly worse to the point where you’ll get shot behind a wall. There are also a lot of hackers and unfortunately nothing really gets done about them. They have a self reporting system but the hackers are so prevalent at this point the game is no longer enjoyable and I’ve deleted. If you play this game do so with the knowledge that anything you go into a match with you will lose. I’ve tried submitting feedback tickets but they get ignored. There is also a lot of racist people in the game. It will become obvious that the hackers typically have Asian characters in their name, which in turn leads to a lot of racist language about Asians showing up in the chat. Have a great day! ### 1/5 — Trash game *2021-06-21, version 1.0.4* I never really liked Netease games because they where trash so I said hey i might try another game and geuss what it was still trash i know some people may like this game and that’s their opinion but it’s just not that good because say this you get really good loot one game then the next you get destroyed by a sweat and that’s all gone but they have insurance on their weapons but who wants to waste all their money every time they die and lose their weapons and armor but I HATE the way that they did the clothing thing it is so expensive to get clothing and if you get a chest you have a chance to get clothes put you only get to keep them for a day or so DEVELOPERS WHY BE SO CHEAP AND WHY CANT YOU JUST GIVE PEOPLE SKINS FOREVER AND NOT ONLY FOR A DAY but this is just my opinion and net ease pls try and make an actual good game ### 1/5 — Terrible, but has huge potential *2020-10-27, version 1.0.2* There is next to no weapon balance, armor does nothing, the only attachments that matter are scope and magazine, and since you die so fast you literally are going to die allot. Another thing is Insurance can fail, even if you pay thousands, your ensured items can literally be taken by other players. This game has potential, but it is so bad right now. A suggestion is to not have loadouts from the beginning, but to have it a system to airdrop your chosen loadout like how warzone does it. Another suggestion is to have ALL loot occupy the same backpack space. And have it to where players cant steal your premium insurance items. ### 2/5 — Terrible in every way. *2022-08-13, version 1.0.24* This game is not only a knock-off Tarkov, but a garbage one at that. Download if you enjoy getting pub-stomped by people that are much better with much better guns and weapons, and if that’s not your thing, how about the terrible wait times and fact the game is practically dead? It’s pointless to even try to progress, because after you stop playing with bots for the first few games, the unfair matchmaking thrusts newbies in with veteran players and it’s a recipe for the worst game I’ve ever downloaded, be it on phone, or pc…oh right, not only do you unfairly get matched up with veterans, you get matched up with PC players, which leaves you with NO chance of fun; unplayable. ### 2/5 — Looks fun doesn’t work *2022-05-18, version 1.0.22* Love the idea of the game. Really wanted to try it. Took the time to download and update and all that. Then it tells me it doesn’t support gameplay in my country. Uhm hello I live in the US that’s where all games work I thought. But whatever. Fix your game re-release it, I would still love to try it if it ever becomes available in my country. Also there is no way to get to a customer service spot to submit anything. It won’t let me past the login screen. Super sad. ### 2/5 — Third Person is a problem. *2022-04-21, version 1.0.22* The games good, I like it. High risk, high reward. Something’s gotta be done about the third person peaking. I’m level ten and have lost 3 different decked out kits because I was quick peeked and dropped in an instant. This game has a massive amount of promise, but you gotta fix this issue, I’m not the only one who’s complaining about it either. Also, the servers are screwed too. I’ve played about 10-13 squad games, and only once did my partner and I squad up that was American. I ain’t got no issue with anybody, just saying the high ping causes lags, slips, and disconnects. This game has the possibility of being a great mobile looter-shooter, but it’s gotta get fixed, and stay maintained. ### 2/5 — Potential *2022-02-19, version 1.0.21* The game has major potential, I think however the level cap should be increased there for adding more challenges to the ops manual. Backpack space is a little bit of an issue but can understand avoiding to be exactly like tarkov. Think the safe space should be increased at least. As for guns and armor I think you should make a few adjustments to adding possibly T6 armor? Just a thought, but we could definitely use more guns. The new lmg and sniper were nice but no one can really get a lightning ar without spending a crap ton of in game cash. So more weapons would definitely drag more attention. Maybe release a patch update for graphics cause I’ve been having issues this last patch when I could run this game even on the highest settings now it hiccups on the lowest settings. **Developer response:** Thank you for your valuable feedback. We appreciate your support! ### 3/5 — Realism and FPP *2022-12-07, version 1.0.26* I really like this game, but, big but, realism would make it soooo much better. For example, adding multiple armors that hold different armor plates and specific ammunition with different penetration power and damage, I am not saying rework the game, just add some realism. Second, you can’t play FPP solo for whatever reason. This type of game should be a hardcore shooter and in hardcore shooters you can have campers, third person does not help with campers. Also on the topic of FPP, it would be cool if it was focused on as the main style of play in my opinion. In all honesty, the closer to tarkov a game is on mobile the more popular it is. Thank you for reading! ### 3/5 — Why get rid of first person view *2022-04-14, version 1.0.22* I recently came back to playing Badlanders, I guess they updated the game and now you no longer have the option to use first person view which was my main view for this game, I don’t know why this was the idea for the games future because first person view, as it didn’t really add anything it gave people a choice of if they prefer fps or third person shooters, to the devs please bring back first person view 🙏 ### 3/5 — Great but… *2022-02-17, version 1.0.21* I downloaded this game a while ago and I loved it. It was fun addictive and I loved the concept of the game. As of today the day I am writing this review I went into a game with some friends and i had my best gear on me and my internet went out making me lose my purple M4 Carbine which costed me $49,000 in the auction, I lost my Blue DMR98k which I had spent $15,000 on, I lost my Green Sniper Rifle (I forgot which model) which costed me $3,500 plus my Gold level 4 Armor which I got from a friend, and my Purple level 3 backpack. Over all I loved the game but please fix it to where if your internet goes out it will save your guns and armor and can I get some sort of compensation??? ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Amazing game!! I have absolutely loved this game but I wish there was a few more maps and guns or attachments. It is EFT on your phone tho so I definitely like that aspect of the game. You die you lose everything unless it’s insured and you get lucky enough that no one wants your loot. Great shooting and controls.
