Such a missed opportunity with this and so disappointing. I have been told by the shop assistants in different places to just add the gluten free bagel request in the notes section of the order, but that’s very hit or miss every time. As many of the shop assistants don’t even check the notes on the order!!! And I end up arriving and when I double check with them if the bagel is gluten free, and then it turns out they didn’t check the notes and I have to wait until they make another one. Very poorly designed. I reached out about this to the support as when I started ordering I thought that perhaps it was a glitch in the App for the store I was ordering from. But no!! They told me that they cannot offer this because of it not being 100% gf, which is a bit of a ludicrous excuse considering that I often shop through different Apps or use delivery Apps and they simply specify or make sure that the customer confirms in the App that the cross contamination is fine. Honestly, I really don’t understand why this cannot be introduced? As I either have to waste time ordering and waiting in store or waste time waiting for my order to be redid as the note was not seen or like today have to receive and accept a non-gf bagel that I cannot eat as the store informed me that they didn’t see the note but also didn’t have the gf bagels delivered at all!! ### 5/5 — really enjoyed it *2025-10-10, version 13.0.7* very tasty ### 5/5 — Great app *2025-07-07, version 11.3.0* Free bagel on my first visit! It’s worse than that. They will advertise for the app in store in exchange for a discount. Avoid this app. I was tricked into downloading the app whilst instore under the pretext that I’d get a free bagel. Firstly the app’s location picker was bad. I had to scroll through dozens of stores to find the one I was at. Had to repeat this at least twice. Secondly, after registering with Apple ID the app wanted me to add a payment method. Apple Pay was not available. It wanted a payment card number and other details! When I asked the instore helper (some very arrogant young lady in the Meadowhall store) I was told that I must put in card details. And “that’s the way it works” - and then she strutted off.
