The drone tone works but none of the pipe notes do. It had a good run and I used it on many iOS revs over the years, but it looks like it’s time to delete it.

Not a bad app. It’s fun playing the songs. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I wish there were different keys that you could play the songs in.

I am a bagpiper. This app makes me cringe. I tried playing Scotland the Brave on this but it is stupid playing songs without grace notes, d throws, and other techniques. I would give this to a kid to play with because it seams fun to pretend like you play the bagpipes. Don’t expect to play a jig on it though.

At first it didn’t work, but after reinstalling it I had no problems. I just needed a bagpipe sound for D&D and this worked for that.

The chanter is difficult to see clearly enough against the background colour. A light, plain coloured background would be better. The “holes” could have white rings round the edges. I had trouble doing the crunluath because of this.😂
Good points are: you can turn on auto blowing on in settings.
You can just press “play” and play whatever you want. I tried “Arthur Bignold of lochrosque” ((if that’s how it’s spelled)

I downloaded this app for an odd reason- I needed bagpipe sounds for a D&D Bard who played the pipes. It a very fun app, with great sound and fun tutorials. The only reason I'm not giving it a full five is that I wish there was a way to get more tutorials online(or maybe even create some) as well as move the pipes farther apart- with them so close together it's rather hard to play on a smaller screen. But for being a free app? This absolutely awesome.

I used to like this app but i had to delete it for storage and when i re downloaded it half the controls stopped working. The keys dont work, i cant change the microphone setting and i can't contact support from the app.

This app is completely inaccurate to the actual bagpipe. The finger patterns are off and completely inaccurate.

It's not at all a representation of the fingering system of a real bagpipe. It's much more like a piano or organ in its playing style; if I cover five holes, I get five pitches. This is not at all the behaviour of a bagpipe. This makes it unusable as a practice or composition tool.

This app is so fun! There is tutorials and free play. Make sure you run on auto blow, because blowing into your microphone is bad for it.

The app works well. Make sure to enable the microphone, even if you are using auto-blow. Otherwise only the drone will play. 

Would be nice to see which note(s) you are playing for us beginners.
