Das Display kann ich super einstellen, aber das nutzen eines reise-tags ist nicht mehr möglich. Noch nie so was schlechtes gesehen. Leider scheint es zur Zeit Probleme mit dem Datenfluss von Lufthansa zu geben. Obwohl um 14:00 Uhr eingecheckt und im Besitz digitaler Bordkarten, ist es nicht möglich, die entsprechenden Daten auf das Device zu übertragen, da immer die Meldung kommt, das kein Gepäck angemeldet ist, obwohl ich einen Koffer pro Person bis 23 kg Mitnehmen kann. At least let us have the app!!!! :-( ### 2/5 — Terrible App for customizing the display *2022-09-14, version 3.4* The original RIMOWA app had much more flexibility in manipulating the photo to display to your liking. This app’s crop and size feature is terrible and glitchy. The amount of text you can put is also extremely limited compared to the original. The firmware also cannot be updated. This app is not even close to an equivalent feature set. Booo! I don’t use the airlines features as it’s supper limited, so it’s not worth it. The least they could do is maintain the original app for the cost of the suitcase! ### 3/5 — Basic functionality for RIMOWA luggage *2022-04-22, version 3.2.1* RIMOWA terminated its own app for their luggage with electronic tag, so I moved to BAGTAG. Though I didn‘t really liked the old RIMOWA app the BAGTAG app is currently not better. The connection with my Electronic Tag works easy and intuitive. It‘s not clear, which size the graphics have to be and my first attempts looked bad. While I formerly used 200x444px and the app added the black area, the BAGTAG app expects either a graphics of 200x750px with the black background area added or the graphics will be cut, which may result in ugly displays. Currently the green stripes, used for airline bag tags are shining through. I contacted the company and they replied fast and individual. The bug with the green stripes is known and they’re already working to fix this. Since the RIMOWA functionality was only added recently, I‘m positive, this will improve with the next updates. I‘d be happy to give more stars then. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Lost our bags *2026-03-14, version 3.19.2* Arrived at Hawaiian Airlines bag drop and they didn’t know how to scan the tag. I should have known this would be a problem. Noticed that the BAGTAG numbers were no longer showing up on the app so I went to the airline counter and was assured that they had my bags. Arrived in Seattle at Alaska Airlines but my bags didn’t. Had to file a claim and yet to find out if my bags will turn up. The tags, which were supposed to save time during check in, instead added hours in customer service line for baggage services. ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-10-07, version 3.17.5* I’ve always used my e-tag to display my contact information and this is no replacement for the previous RIMOWA app. My full name doesn’t even fit on one line, let alone a short email address, or phone number, or home address. Da der Hersteller seine App ja seit der LVMH Übernahme eingestampft hatte, war ich sehr enttäuscht, die coole Funktion nicht mehr Nutzen zu können. Individuelle Bilder klappen wunderbar. Die App hilft einem sogar, das Bild ans Display anzupassen. Meha leicht zu bedienen. Übertragungen an den Koffer in etwa 15 Sekunden. Found this app, downloaded it and connected my suitcase without any issues. Once bag checkin was open I checked the bag and transferred the tag to the suitcase - nice and easy! 😁 The only remaining question is, will my luggage make it to the destination ……. will see ### 5/5 — Bug was fixed pretty quick *2023-08-10, version 3.8.3* The app crashed when I tried to load pictures to my rimowa case. After several days they delivered a fix and it is now working.
