Baixem 1.4 has arrived, bringing the brand-new map view. • MAP (BETA): From now on, you’re no longer limited to checking departures only from stops near you. Browse around the map, tap on stops, see what leaves from there and when, check the timetable of each service, its route on the map, and when it’s expected to reach every stop along the way. On top of that, scheduled departures are automatically updated with the latest LIVE data published by the operators whenever it’s available. (You’ll see these in green.) As far as we know, we might be the only app in Catalonia (properly) combining scheduled and live departure data from TMB Metro, TMB and AMB buses, FGC, TRAM and Rodalies. • RODALIES: Rodalies has joined the party too, so from now on you’ll also find the wonderful, one and only Rodalies scheduled departures (and real-time departures whenever available) inside the app. You’ll be able to browse these on the map just like everything else. Please be patient and forgiving with the new map view. It’s still very much taking its first baby steps. But we’ve been working on it all summer, traveling around the city to test it in real life, and we decided it was better to release an early, slightly rough version now instead of spending years trying to make it perfect. There’s still a LOT planned, as this is only the beginning. We’re incredibly excited about what’s coming next, because our goal is to become the best public transport app in Catalonia. Thus, with Baixem 1.3 we are bringing the following improvements: • CROWD INTELLIGENCE WIDGET: We have added a new widget type to show Crowd Intelligence on your home screen. Now you can take a quick glance at how crowded the city is, before leaving your home. • AMB DEPARTURES: We added AMB’s official data source to show the departures of additional AMB lines. Therefore, buses that are shown in the app are not limited to TMB buses anymore. • MORE FGC LINES: After this update, all FGC lines are shown in the Nearby Departures screen, not limited to the L6, L7, L8 and L12 anymore. I guess the direction we are going in is becoming pretty clear, but let’s keep it as a surprise what the next update will bring. ### 1.2 — 2026-06-19 Travel on new lines and have everything at a glance, or rather, with a flick of your wrist. That's what Baixem 1.2 brings you during this lovely summer heatwave. • FGC LINES: We've added 5 new lines to the map. After a full real-world exploration and data collection, the L6, L7, L8 and L12 are now officially part of Baixem. That means you can now enjoy Baixem's benefits on FGC suburban services too. • APPLE WATCH APP: One wrist movement and everything is right there. The entire Baixem experience is now available on Apple Watch. From L1 to L12, from T1 to T6. And if you start scrolling down on your watch, nearby departures will appear automatically. Pretty neat, right? • L9 & L10 DEPARTURE TIMES: We fixed an issue where the app was trying to display departure times that don't actually exist for the L9N, L9S, L10N and L10S lines. Baixem now fetches the scheduled departures instead, so you can finally see when these trains are leaving near you. • LIVE ACTIVITY FIXES: We fixed missing line icons in Live Activities and also taught the little arrows under the train cars where they're supposed to be. • 12 MISSING STOPS COMPLETED: During our 40+ hours of station-mapping adventures, a few stops ended up missing one or two details. We've gone back and filled in the gaps. ### 1.1 — 2026-06-10 If you thought the story ended with the release of Baixem, we're only getting started. Baixem 1.1 arrives with TRAM support and the brand-new Crowd Intelligence (BETA) feature. • TRAM: We've mapped all 6 TRAM lines, including both Trambaix and Trambesòs. That means Baixem now works across the entire TRAM network. Naturally, with the usual Relevant Nearby Departures and carriage occupancy levels included. • CROWD INTELLIGENCE: We collect real-time occupancy data from the Metro, TRAM and FGC commuter lines across different parts of the city, then average it out to estimate just how crowded Barcelona is right now. • FGC API: As preparation for full FGC mapping, we've implemented FGC nearby departures data throughout the app. • WIDGET: Nearby departures can now be viewed directly from your Home Screen. Even better, any filters you set in the app will automatically apply to the widget as well. Only want to see the Metro?
