### 3/5 — Decent but notebook and pen might be better

*2020-10-01*

Major flaw as other people have pointed out, notes. We all know how important it is to jot down notes.

Next up is, if you decide to do a percentage of something, if can’t be flour. You can only mark it as a flour if it is in grams. This threw me off for a bake as I didn’t realize it didn’t set my flour as a flour so my hydration was much lower than the calculated result.

**Developer response:** Hello friend.
I know it’s been ages, but I’d really appreciate it if you could give the app another shot :)

### 3/5 — Needs a note feature!

*2020-05-11*

This would be a really useful app if it included some way to track notes about recipes and techniques.

### 3/5 — Good start but....

*2019-12-25*

Beautiful UI, but not 100% intuitive - sometimes after entering an ingredient the hydration % is not updating / displaying.
Would benefit from enhancements like ability to to take a picture of the resulting bread, and to add notes about the process

### 3/5 — Math isn’t accurate

*2018-10-06*

This app is a great idea, but unfortunately the math doesn’t work right. Bakers math is a little different. Each ingredient is calculated as a percentage of the main ingredient. The total flour should be the main ingredient, even if it is 2 or more types of flour, such as white flour and whole wheat flour. If I say I need 100% hydration, it should be giving me 100% of the weight of both flours added together. The same for salt and any other ingredients. This unfortunately gets it wrong. Hope it gets fixed because it would be a great app if it worked!

### 4/5 — Simple with nice design

*2020-05-21*

This app is good and looks nice too. It’s useful, but being able to keep notes would be a great addition.

### 4/5 — Very useful but one major flaw

*2020-03-22*

It’s great to be able to log ingredients for different bakes, but how is there no “Notes” section when building a recipe? I often vary techniques between bakes, which is almost as important as the percentages.

**Developer response:** Hello friend.

### 4/5 — Ok app but could be better

*2020-01-23*

I’ve been using this for my sourdough bread recipes. It would help if there was a field for entering notes. Right now I have to keep a separate notebook for notes.

**Developer response:** Hello friend.

### 4/5 — Elegance needs notes

*2019-04-01*

I wish I was at a point where I could go into recipes without procedures or notes. But I’m not. Could we have some page or space for notes?

**Developer response:** Hello friend.
I know it’s been ages, but I’d really appreciate it if you could give the app another shot :)

### 5/5 — Welcome back

*2026-03-05*

Been waiting a long time for the app to come back on apple. I kept an old phone around just to use the previous version that for whatever reason wasn’t available on apple for a few years. Very simple to use. Other bread calculator apps do way more than you need. Keep it simple!

### 5/5 — Great app.

*2020-12-05*

Love this app. Very simple and straightforward. A notes page would be nice but I’ll definitely fine with the way it is. I’ve tried other baker apps. But this one makes the most sense to me. How about an update? Don’t get stale!
