## What is BakeryOS?

BakeryOS is the daily cockpit for an artisan bakery — built by a working French boulanger, for real production floors.

WEIGH-OUT, THE HEART OF THE DAY
The whole production in one screen: batch quantities, dough weights per shape, levain builds, water-temperature (DDT) math, and a shareable PDF day sheet for the team.

RECIPES IN GRAMS
Professional recipe cards — shapes and weights, allergens, methods. Multiply a batch ×N without ever touching the original.

COSTS AND MARGINS THAT TELL THE TRUTH
Ingredient prices flow into product costs. Any unpriced ingredient shows "to be priced" instead of a fake margin — everywhere, the same law.

PLANNING AND TEAM
Rota built on reusable shifts — colour-coded week grid, day coverage, holiday tracking, printable wall sheet. Supplier book and equipment register included.

AN ASSISTANT THAT READS YOUR PAPERWORK
Photograph an invoice, a flour bag or a handwritten recipe card and the assistant reads it in.

WORKS OFFLINE
Opens and runs with no connection — your data syncs when you're back online. French & English. Day & Night themes. Designed for one-handed use on the floor.

BakeryOS needs a BakeryOS account: your bakery's data follows you across devices and stays in sync with your team.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.23 — 2026-09-02

YOUR RECIPE BECOMES A DOUGH ON THE WEIGH-OUT.
One button on a recipe card creates the dough and its formats — and everything follows: today's counts, cost per piece, price, margin, labels, traceability, analytics. With no product linked yet, the app asks for a piece weight in the page, never in a window that blocks you.

THE APP OPENS WITH NO SIGNAL.
In a cellar or a basement it showed the sign-in screen to a baker who was already signed in, because the server could not be reached. Your phone knows who you are: it opens with your data, says "offline", and resyncs the moment the network returns.

ANALYTICS SAY WHAT YOUR BAKEHOUSE DID.
The page used to project a template week over the year and print figures nobody had weighed. It now reads your weigh-outs: last 7 days, last 30 days, this month, last month, in pieces and kilos, product by product, dough by dough. The projection sits at the bottom and only appears after 14 days of weigh-outs.

"TO COST" TELLS YOU WHAT TO COST.
The blocking ingredient is named, levain feed included. And the ingredient total says "· 3 to cost" when lines have no price, instead of a number that looks final.

FORGOTTEN PASSWORD: THE LINK WORKS.
It used to arrive broken, or already spent before you clicked. It now arrives whole and opens the "choose a new password" screen directly. Same for inviting a colleague.

NO MORE INVENTED YIELD.
Writing "50 g each" in the yield field showed "~ 50 pieces" and divided the cost by a weight. Free text is only read when it is a plain number.

ALSO.
The assistant says why it declines when your daily AI allowance is used up. Money and weights read in one language. The stale-price counter only counts prices that exist. The language stays the one you chose. A link leads from the recipe card to the dough that weighs it out, and back. Renaming a colleague keeps their rota and leave. Dates have their month again, and Brioche its formats.

### 1.0.16 — 2026-08-31

YOUR PRICE TAGS, PRINTED FROM YOUR WEIGH-OUT.
Labels now print at true size — 80 x 58 mm for bread, 60 x 40 mm for everything else — and nothing is typed twice. The name, the weight, the price and the allergens all come from the shaping you already keep. Change a price, reprint, it is current. Six backgrounds and your choice of ink, with your own logo on every tag. If a colour pairing would be hard to read the app says so; it does not stop you. It is your shop.

VEGAN, VEGETARIAN, GLUTEN-FREE — WITH A GUARD THAT DOES ITS JOB.
You tick what a product is, product by product. If the recipe contradicts the claim the app refuses and names the line that caused it: it will not print gluten-free on a bread whose flour carries gluten. It never guesses a claim for you — a declaration is yours — but it will not print what it can see is untrue. Gluten-free asks the real question too, about shared flour and a shared oven, and your answer is the one that counts.

YOUR STARTER IS NOT EMPTY TOMORROW.
The levain build now keeps a reserve, instead of being planned down to zero.

TWO BAKERS, ONE BAKEHOUSE.
Selling prices, your team and your equipment were the last places two devices could overwrite each other. Each row is merged on its own now — you only change yours.

Also: the traceability register tells you what it is missing instead of staying quiet, and costing reads pieces per batch from the shaping rather than a stored yield.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-30

YOUR RECIPE CARDS AND YOUR WEIGH-OUT NOW AGREE.
Until this version the same bread could carry two different formulas — one on its recipe card, one in the weigh-out — and neither told you the other existed. They are now one truth, taken from the bakery actually running on the app. Five breads that only existed in the weigh-out finally have proper cards, and every card shows the formats you really make, read live from the weigh-out rather than copied and left to go stale.

COSTS YOU CAN TRUST.
An ingredient is now priced by what it IS, not by how it happens to be spelled. Flour is costed as flour, levain from what it is fed, water is free. That fixes real cases where a levain was silently costed at nothing or a rye was priced at the wrong rate — the kind of error that quietly flatters a margin and then follows you into what you charge.

Also fixed: saving a recipe no longer loses its ingredient details, English ingredient names now line up with the right weights, and the ingredient import no longer offers you water to price.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-28

CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT IN THE APP.
This is the main change in this version. Until now the app only accepted a handful of known addresses — fine during development, not fine once the app is on the App Store. Any baker can now create their bakery from the sign-in screen, and start from the recipe templates or go straight to their own.

YOUR MARGINS ARE NOW RIGHT.
Levain cost nothing. The app counted it as zero and did not even flag it, so it was confident about a flattering number. On a country loaf that is nearly 30% more material cost. Your prices have not changed — what the app said about them has.

YOU CAN FINALLY COST YOUR WEIGH-OUT.
28 of the 35 ingredients a weigh-out needs never appeared when you imported: your shapes stayed "to be costed" indefinitely, right after you pressed the button meant to fix exactly that. They cost properly now, and the dashboard counts them.

ALLERGENS IN FILLINGS NO LONGER SLIP THROUGH.
The dried fruit in a fruit loaf lives on the shape, not in the base dough — the check could not see it. It now reads the dough AND what is folded into it, and proposes what it finds. The declaration stays yours.

TWO DEVICES, ONE BAKERY.
When two people edited two different doughs at the same time, one of the two corrections vanished without a word. Both are kept now.

Also: password reset, a full export of your data, a way to reach us from any page, a monthly total on the Finances page, and corrected reference doughs.
