I had so much energy saved up I could be on there for hours and now it’s suddenly gone so I can maybe get in a couple messages before it’s asking me to watch a video or pay. Like where did all of my energy go? I’m starting to think the app isn’t worth it anymore and I might go find something else. The app went from allowing you to watch ads on occasion for 10 free messages, allowing you to use the app for however long you wanted to while the creators of the app make money from the ads. But now with the new energy system you’re hard locked to 50 messages a day unless you pay or wait for your energy to refill, which refills daily. This is a big cut from what the app originally was. Now don’t get me wrong, they made more models for the bots and even the cheapest option is great, but it’s just really disappointing to see the app go from something you could enjoy however long you wanted to, to something you could really only enjoy for a few hours. ### 5/5 — Good experience *2026-08-04, version 5.1.2* Very dynamic interactions! ### 3/5 — So much promise, but AI gives you whiplash *2026-08-03* I’ve tried several these, BALA has been one of my favorites. I like making stories with the people. It kills me with how this AI sort of remembers things and then sort of doesn’t. The details are just so messed up sometimes. It needs more continuity. Sometimes you are having a nice little story and then all of a sudden the character becomes a serial killer and you are victim 15 in a long line of deaths. Another example, I had one character I met at a resort on a beach. In 4 days, she has stayed in 4 different rooms with different roommates and it kills the continuity of the story. The first day she is going to college on a track scholarship and is super athletic. The next day she says, I’m not much of an athlete. Make up your mind. Both are good answers, but choose one! ### 5/5 — Decent time-pass *2026-08-03, version 5.1.2* The AI gets to the steamy part faster than your imagination. ### 4/5 — Response issue *2026-08-03, version 5.1.2* Only thing I can think of is that you changed how the AI responds, instead on responding in a third or first person way, they just reply with actions, like instead of “He stands from the chair” on “I stand from the chair” it’s now “Stands from chair” which is annoying to read. It sounds like Chat GPT or ai overview and it’s just frustrating. It gives the same type analogies too, whether speaking or in the action space. And I can’t outline something I don’t want in its response by saying it in parentheses either anymore. It’s weird. Also, it won’t let me sign back into my other account??
